The Millonario 10 Aniversario Cincuenta is a Peruvian rum crafted at the Hacienda Agricola de Chiclayo distillery. I was somehow disappointed by this rum. It has a spicy note on the nose and palate, and is also slightly sweet. Chocolate, caramel, vanilla and coffee can be tasted. I had expected more from an anniversary rum.
The taste has notes of vanilla, fruit and spices - The same rum as the "little brother" but the higher alcohol percentage of 50% works well here and suits better compared to the otherwise quite sweet rum - to my taste 👍
This is a good beginner rum because even though it's not complex it still masters a lot of flavours. A sweet rum with good aromas and a nice palate and best of all, pretty cheap compared to the competition.
