Lots of port/red wine on the nose, with a medicinal note. Quite intense for just 3 years. Quite exciting. In the mouth then quite strong and noticeably 46%. Very porty up front, then classic young rum with lots of wood and a hint of raisin towards the back. The percentages suit it well, unfortunately not much else happens here. It remains solid.
