The Wild Series Rum Coffret Set Vol 2 (Malaga) is a limited-edition Jamaican rum from the Clarendon distillery, bottled by Romdeluxe. Distilled in 2021 and aged for 7 months, this cask strength rum is notable for its high ABV of 69.8%. Tasting notes highlight a strong influence of Malaga with aromas of butterscotch and banana, and flavors of roasted wood and red pepper. While its sweet finish and balanced spices are appreciated, some users feel the alcohol is not perfectly integrated, and the complexity is lacking due to its young age. 29.10.2022 whisky & Rum Festival, nice event with a few friends and a few of our own bottles. Pretty good and young rum. Fruity with nice spices and light wood. Long and warm medium dry finish.
Starker Einfluss vom Malaga Cask. Sehr süß, wer mit Wein Finish kein Problem hat, gern probieren. Der eigentliche MM Charakter ist aber kaum noch zu erkennen. Als daily easy Sipper aber zu teuer.
Angenehme, schwere Süsse neben den Fruchtestern. Süffig, gelungene Auswahl.
Nase: Málaga Wein Finish > Madeira > PX. Am Gaumen für mich die gleiche Reihenfolge. ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass fast umgelagerter MM so eine gute Mischung zwischen LP und NY (aber nicht so fruchtig) sein kann.
