“La description va être brève : il n’y a rien à tirer de ce jus. C’est insipide, sans vie et sans émotion tel un jus de carton. Le nez est extrêmement fade, à mi-chemin entre le caramel, la vanille et le boisé très jeune. La bouche ne fait pas mieux. Elle réussit même à avoir une touche alcoolique qui montre une intégration de l’alcool perfectible. La finale reste tout aussi mémorable que le reste : fantomatique. Une qualité qu’on peut reconnaître à ce rhum : sa constance, car de A à Z il reste aussi linéaire, transparent et plat au possible. Les autres rhums de la gamme (Panama et un blend) font mieux pour un prix similaire.”
