“One of my favorite from long Pond! Really funky, fruity from the nose to the finish! I really enjoyed the fanatastic tastes of the oak barrel. For me as a ex carpenter, really impressive. The alcohol is intergrated very well. Nose: ester, funky, delicious, pineapple, coconut, overripe fruits, peaches, banana, varnish, nutty, almond, treacle, sweet, toffee, woody Mouth: dry, astringend, balanced, complex, funky, menthol, tannins, roasted, spicy, some ginger notes, amazing oak(barrel), almond, vanilla, pineapple, peaches, coconut, banana, dried apricot, burnt sugar, minty Finish: medium long, dry, astrigend, delicious, tannins, bitter, oak(woody), mocha, peaches, pineapple”

A very well balanced and complex rum and they did a super finish on it without hiding the Long Pond flavours.
