“This is a younger Barbados rum and it comes at you from opening the bottle. It needs to rest for a while to release all of its potential. Lightly smoky and woody from nose to finish. Add some fruit and spices, a hint of spices and caramel ad you have a good rum. Price to quality is very good.”

“Slightly sharper than the second 2011 from the Colours of Rum range, slightly less balanced alcohol integration overall, less sweet and slightly more bitter. Accordingly, somewhat more complex, but not necessarily more interesting for me.”
