How does this rum taste?
Rhum Élévé Sous Bois from the Neisson distillery in Martinique is distilled from sugar cane juice using a column still, and boasts a robust 50% ABV. Its intriguing blend of aromas includes sugarcane, fruity, and grassy notes with vegetal and cucumber nuances. The taste profile is characterized by vegetal, sugarcane, woody, sweet, and earthy undertones, offering versatility for both sipping and mixing, especially in cocktails like tiki drinks. Users appreciate the rum's sweet, grassy quality but note its youthful sharpness, suggesting it may be better suited for cocktails than neat sipping due to its short aging period.

For me personally still a little too young and immature. For good drinks but certainly top!
Pleasant sipper, creamy with well-integrated alcohol. The very short maturation, however, creates a profile that is neither fish nor meat, I like the unripened Neisson better.
Very sweet yet has a bright grassiness that still falls squarely in the unaged agricole. Lots of delicate notes and undertones. Excellent in tiki drinks, it doesn't get lost against fresh citrus juice
