"The nose is nice, it’s easy to drink and a rather short finish goes the same way as at the palate. It’s very unclear where this rum is distilled, cause they don’t have any stills at the Hacienda Coloma so they are probably just aging, blending and bottling it. In the end of the aging they finish it in former Coloma Coffee Liqueur barrels."

"Hier auch ein ganz okayer 40%iger Durchschnittsrum. Eigentlich hat man hier so gut wie nur Kaffee in Nase und Gaumen. Ich kann noch eine leichte Karamellnote herausschmecken. Ist auch relativ süss, aber noch im Rahmen."

"Longtemps que je n'avais pas goûté de Coloma. J'ai trouvé ce huit ans assez agréable. Sucré, caramélisé et sur le café. C'est très prononcé. Mais un boisé quelque peu acide amène de l'intérêt à cette bouteille. Plutôt agréable."
