“Total rip-off when it comes to sippers. Very young, tastes of fusel oil, like an unaged whiskey. Very straw color, but in fact it's almost like it's not aged at all. A taste like this I expect from expressions less than 3 years old. For a 16-year-old rum, even if it is continental (no specificity in that respect), the quality for the price is just inexcusable. Shameful cash grab from Hunter Laing. Makes a very pleasant daiquiri all the same, but holy shit, you can find rums for daiquiris much cheaper than this. To be avoided.”

“2003 (16 years old): spicy, even full-bodied! Carried by clove, raisin and brown sugar. Nice length, it's my favorite of the trio”
