"Less spicy on the nose but pleasant scents of brioche and pastries. Complex. Intense yet gentle. Slight sharpness on the tongue for a few seconds."
"For me a big surprise! Very complex, woody-spicy. In addition, some honey sweetness and tropical fruit on the nose, but very subtle. On the palate, additionally tar and dirt. Overall, amazingly, there are many characteristic flavors of unique styles that come together here to create a new, insanely good overall result. Am thrilled!"
"First of all: thanks Lukas for the sample and you're right, it's damn good! Nose: wonderfully dense aromas, fruity, woody and spicy. Ripe and sweet and sour gooseberry with passion fruit set the tone. There is also some orange peel. I find a fine honey note at the beginning, which turns towards crème brûlée over time. At the same time, round barrel and wood aromas with aniseed, leather and herbs fill the nose. Great. 8,9 Palate: also very intense and again woody-spicy with sour fruit. Again, gooseberry goes very well, together with blackcurrant. Slightly bitter lime zest is also present. Nice spiciness with wood, salt, nutmeg, licorice, vanilla, leather and tea. Definitely has a lot to offer; the 2cl of leather are gone far too quickly. 8.9"
"Had the pleasure of tasting this lovely rum yesterday. A very well balanced rum where the ABV is very well integrated. Overall a great rum that is very hard to get your hands on already. "
