“Another great release from Romdeluxe living up to its name. The nose is woody and fruity with some chocolate. The chocolate really comes out in the empty glass once rested. The palate is woody and has roasted notes to it with dried fruit, chocolate, honey and a nice hint of coffee. The finish is long and woody with honey, chocolate and coffee. Price to quality can be discussed, but it is a very nice rum.”

“This one is really fun! Typical molasses Diamond from the 1996 vintage. Fortunately, compared to other bottlings, the alcohol content is not chosen too low!”

“The few percent more alcohol compared to the sister bottlings of Corman and Romdeluxe have a very positive effect here in my opinion - the heavy sweetness is much more nicely integrated and comes across much less dominant than in the other two bottlings. I like from this trio best.”
