“06.11.2021 Another visit to "Den Danske Rom & Whiskyfestival and once again with special access and many very drunk people both days. Notes. Another secret mini bottle came out of nowhere and we all liked it. A very well balanced rum with good ABV integration. Medium fruity with light caramel and a vegetal touch. The palate is oily and has nice chocolate and a light smoky note. The finish is long and woody with a light minty note. This was the end of day 2.”

“Puh, Dieses Profil ist ultra speziell und sehr eigen. Mit alten Demeraras bin ich nicht so erfahren. Kann das gar nicht richtig einordnen. Erinnert mich an den SilverSeal 1974 den ich mal hatte. Aber für mich ist diese Abfüllung Meilenweit entfernt von anderen Enmore Abfüllungen desselben Jahrgangs, die ich bisher hatte. Braucht unbedingt ein Re-Tasting. Re-Tasting: ich bekomme gefallen an dem Profil, wahnsins komplex mit langem Abgang. Melasse, etwas Tannennadeln, Gewürze wie Piment, Anis, dunkle Schokolade. Es lässt einem an fleischige Dinge erinnern, etwa eine Art mexikanische Mole. Tiefer Geschmack. Einzig das verbrannte ist leicht zu dominant, nicht stören für mich, etwas weniger wäre aber hervorragend gewesen. Mit einem Tropfen Wasser balanciert sich das etwas aus.”
