Gentle toffee, caramel and oak, ideal for easy sipping.
Aroma brings vanilla, toffee, and gentle wood, while the palate highlights toffee, caramel, and a smooth chocolate finish. RumX tasters agree: a balanced, unfussy rum that shines for the price—especially as an everyday sipper or mixer.

Overall an very OK everyday rum, especially when taking the price into account. The brand Doorly’s was founded by Martin Doorly & Company, but is nowadays owned and produced by Foursquare and Mr. Richard Seale. The 5yo is a single blended rum, a combination of column and pot still, aged in former bourbon casks whereafter it’s bottled without any dosage or additives at 40%.
Smooth, plain. Ok to drink and forget about it. No Caribbean, no fruit, no spice flavor. Molasses and wood. Taste is reminiscent of bourbon. That's not why I drink rum.
A slightly fruity and sweet smell, vanilla, a little woody. The taste is also somewhat fruity and sweet, slightly of vanilla and honey, in the aftertaste also a little woody.
Not exciting on its own but not bad, but it's great in cocktails and is currently my go-to for a Barbados rum punch. But it also works well in Old Cubans, rum and cola etc
