This Brut de Colonne was recommended to me and ultimately given to me as a gift. And the recommendation is justified... an absolute delight. An intense yeast, olive, sugar cane and grass note on the nose. Alhohol barely perceptible. On the palate, an amazing oily smooth distribution without the slightest bite of alcohol (<72%) and the full spectrum of vegetality with a hint of citrus marmalade 😋. The finish remains intense and long... Great... curious to see how it works as a mixer
Wow, this one is fresher than its lightly coloured brother. Equally well balanced and fruity, just fresher in the profile. The palate is oily and it draws really nice curtains in the glass. The empty glass is also very nice and fruity with a light cheese note 😊
Quel plaisir et quelle réussite ! Typicité et richesse aromatique de très haut niveau avec une intégration de l’alcool parfaite. La finale vous renverse sur la canne à sucre, le miel, le poivre et les fruits tropicaux
On the nose canned corn, floral, citrus and ripe. On the palate roasted hazelnuts, ripe and some citrus despite the high alcohol content is nicely integrated, seems to be 20 down and retains great roundness. Short and slightly peppery finish. Similar to the Neisson l'Esprit
