Also a good profile in the approach that emerges. But in the mouth not fully convincing. The nose also had something slightly musty.
Nose is more dirt forwards with some sour/vinegar note to it. On the palate: points for some classic Caroni notes. Unfortunately this is all a bit one dimensional and lacks complexity. Not a bad bottling, but definitely not the pinnacle of 98 Caronis tbh.

Typical nice Caroni flavor profile but not an exceptional bottling. A bit beastly in the glass even after a long time.
