"JMWP marque which I have not had before. On the nose some Jamaican funky notes but really rather muted, it’s hard to get much, some unintegrated alcohol, light banana and an almost sickly weight. With the mouth everything gets elevated to another level, green olive and brine, thyme, with roasted hazelnuts and salted taffy. It’s savoury, and rich with some soft bite that gets your tastebuds going. It’s certainly interesting but the olive and brine salt notes are just too much for me. If you are in the mood maybe, and would love to try and do something akin to a martini. The finish is medium long and again olive and salt forward with a more refined mango in the background. If you love a brine influence in your rum this is for you!"

"When looking at the price this rum gives you a lot for your money. The nose is complex with lots of fruit, spice and toffee as well as bourbon and light minty notes. The palate is also complex, sweet and warm with lots of fruit and spices trailed by roasted wood notes. The finish is long and warm with spices, fruits and light chocolate. Make sure you rest it before nosing and sipping and try to leave the empty glass for a few hours and whiff it again."

"#4102 This is a really nice release with some freshness in the profile. Fruity with nice wood and a light roasted note. Love the caramel in the profile. The empty glass has a wonderful nose with fruit and some chocolate."

"Got this sample from Rum Ratings Tasting Club. It’s a Pot still rum from Worthy Park bottled by S.B.S. 1423 World Class Spirits in Denmark. I had expected a lot more sweetness, but think it was very well balanced with the rather high ABV (50%). It’s also quite complex and one of the best PX finished rums I’ve ever tasted."

"This weekend was very busy because I've been building a new shelf system for my 250+ bottles so my Saturday and Sunday tastings haven't been added :-) This is a nice rum and some may prefer a drop or two of water to really enjoy it "

"Good rum, but compared to Velier's habitation it is a bit subpar! Quite long finish. However tasted very gladly! Recommended! Alcohol could have been integrated better, but still nothing bothersome."

"#4022 This one packs a nice punch from pouring to nosing and drinking. Once resting you get a fresh and fruity Jamaican with nice wood and spice. The palate is lightly dry and intense. The cask finish is there without being too dominant and I like it. The empty glass has the same nice and intense nose with some light leather notes."
