"Like the 2006 Forsyths it does not disappoint expectations. Compared to its predecessor this has more presence of ester/solvent notes and seems less toasty...by a little. On the pineapple finish. A very satisfying tasting rum that I would never stop drinking."

"On the nose, I would be more likely to be blind to a cognac than a rum - let alone a Worthy Park. On the palate, the rum profile becomes clearer, but the typical cognac fruit flavors are still quite present. A very exciting bottling on the border between cognac and heavy, aromatically complex rums, which surprises me in a positive way."

"Retasting this one bacause i got some free samples and it's still really good in my opinion. This time I just rested it for a good while instead of adding water and it opens up after 30 minutes or so. This is a kick ass rum. Fruity from nose to finish. I had to add a few drops of water to get all the flavours on my palate, but it doesn't really need water. Great rum at a great price tag."

"This is a retaste and I stick to my score. Pretty good rum from Habitation. The nose is wonderfully fruity with the typical funk, ester and glue and maybe some varnish/polish in the back. The palate is complex and well balanced, again with a nice funk and lots of fruits. A bit dry with wood and wet hay. The finish is long and fruity with a tad of funk and wood."

"The nose is fruity and smoky with vanilla and a hint of tobacco. The palate is intense, spicy and has smoky wood with fruits and tobacco. I think whisky lovers will take a liking to this one because the flavours are pretty close to whisky. The fi isj is long and has smoky wood, tobacco and dried fruit to it. Price to quality is very good."

"I really like these bumped up ABV rum releases. I have a few different bottles with different finishes and I like them. The price to quality is pretty good on them. This one is fruity and you can easily pick up on the cask finish without it being too dominant. Nice and warm/spicy on the palate and a very long finish."

"I got a free backup bottle of this rum and I still like it a lot as an everyday rum. A wonderful rum which went through 5 different cask types before being bottled. Very nicely balanced between sweet and fruits. The price tag for this bottle is very good compared to what you get. "

"Interesting rum, but with 502 esters I would have expected more aromas. I sensed notes of pineapple, olive and lychee on the finish. A strong hint of solvents prevails, which accompanied by high alcohol content smother everything else. Imperceptible hint of toastiness. I like it, but I recognize that it may not be a rum in everyone's cup of tea. It is not a rum I would drink every day."

"Gibt mit Sicherheit Fans aber auch Hater. Ich trinken ab und zu auch gerne Whisky auch Rauchige von daher für mich sehr gelungen. Braucht unbedingt 20 min Standzeit nötig. Bei ein wenig Verdünnung im Glas entsteht deutlich mehr Fruchtigkeit. Dadurch deutlich angenehmer für den Rumtrinker. Nach längerer Öffnung der Flasche muss ich meine Wertung allerdings anheben. Was hier mit dem Rum passiert ist richtig lecker. Der Rum ist deutlich im Vordergrund (Rauch immer noch vorhanden. Für mich aber ganz einfach ein richtig Geiger Daily Sipper."

"Absolutely extraordinary smell and taste worlds open up - in the nose planty-grassy aromas and green fruit and vegetable notes come to the fore, where I have immediate associations with green gooseberries, fruit bushes and grass, as well as subtle fresh herbs. Reminds me of pulling through the bushes on a spring day in the garden - I do not know so at all from rum. Next to it I have to think of unripe citrus fruits. On the palate, the impressions continue, though some typical Worthy Park notes come through here - dark pepper, some banana, caramel, smoke and wood. A very special profile that you have to like. Gets a little exotic bonus, but this certainly won't be my next Daily Sipper."

"Nose: High ester flows towards you, with grilled pineapple, solvent/turpentine Palate: The rum spreads creamy and the ester note dominates, plus young wood towards the end, slightly bitter and metallic! The finish is of medium length and the young wood predominates The rum would have benefited from a little more ageing, but still very good overall Tasted again today in the RumX calendar: My 1st tasting was confirmed again, although I find it considerably rounder today than last time!"

"This Pot Still rum is a blend of rums that’s consisting of unaged rum as well as rum aged for up to 3 years. Overall it’s a great high esters, funky and well balanced rum with heavy flavors. The nose is fresh and fruity. At palate it’s quite heavy, funky and oaky."

"#4037 Though this one is very alcoholic when poured after 30 mins of resting it calms down and evens out the flavours. Fruity with floral notes stand out as well as the cane. There is a natural sweetness to the palate. Price to quality is very good in my mind. Has huge potential in mixers I think."

"Overall an OK Jamaican rum but that lacks the expected funkiness, probably because of the low ABV. I tasted it at the 1423 stand during the Stockholm Beer & Spirits Fair 2023. This Jamaican rum is a blend of copper pot distilled molasses based rums that have been aged between 4 and 12 years in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels."
