"This is a great rum and the price to quality is very good in my mind. The nose is fruity with wood, nuts and vanilla with trailing caramel and a nice floral note. The palate has toasted wood and fruit trailed by vanilla, licorice and chocolate. There is also a hint of menthol in there. The chocolate and fruits become very clear in the empty glass. The finish is long and has wood, chocolate and raisin with trailing vanilla."

"Ziemlich weit vorne in der verkosteten Runde aus den 70er und 80er Jahrgangsabfüllungen. Sehr rund, null alkoholische Schärfe, komplex, dazu mit einer wunderbaren dezenten Süsse. Die Süsse bleibt während dem Trinken immer präsent, ohne zu überlagern, die übrigen Aromen spielen sich gelungen den Ball zu…das macht einfach sehr viel Spass! "

"Bois d’Inde is one of the three rivers crossing the Plantation. The two others have also a Rhum named after them. Info from TR state that the plantations geographic location gives their Rhums a special character and rich flavors. The sugar cane grows in clay soils and their roots bathe in sea water. This is said giving a high sugar content and a remarkable diverse flavor profile. It’s a blend of eleven great vintages including the very rare 1979. It’s very smooth, subtle, rich, complex and elegant Rhum with a rather long finish. It will not disappoint anyone that likes Agricole."

"09.02.2024 Nordlichter treffen. Retasting and I stick to the score. ----------- This is a very nice and fruity rum. The price tag is really good as well. The Agricole notes are there but more in the background, where the wood and dried fruit is in front. The empty glass is really nice after a while."

"#4454 05.11.2023 just came back after visiting a former colleague and he offered a few rums to try. I only have notes because I came unprepared 😊 Nose: roasted wood, plums, raisin, light citrus and nutts. Palate: well rounded, wood, raisin, citrus, light licorice. Finish!: medium long with wood, cherry, citrus and nutts. The empty glass has some chocolate and light grassy notes."

"Though the ABV is relatively low they have still managed to put a lot of flavour into this release. I'd say the nose is light and elegant at the same time. Good balance between the elements in the profile. Can't stop wondering what it would have turned out at a higher ABV."

"La Route des Rhums Adventskalender 2023 Nr. 7. Hierbeinn42%iger Trois Riviers aus Martinique. Nase finde ich sehr erfrischend, irgendwie funk, außerdem holzig und etwas Vanille. Am Gaumen dann überwiegend Holz, Fass und Gewürze, aber sehr lecker."

"The fifth batch in the Triple Millésime range, this Trois Rivières continues the lineage with a soft, delicate nose of candied and dried fruit, with generous sugar cane and fine oak. Spices, notably cinnamon, stand out alongside tobacco, brown sugar and a touch of cognac. A warm, agricultural profile. The attack on the palate is balanced. There's a flurry of spices, with strong, lightly toasted oak, nuts and dried fruit accompanying sugarcane and herbs on the palate. A round, multi-faceted profile that lacks a little vivacity. The finish is more marked by spices, here dominated by pepper, ginger and chili. Citrus fruits appear alongside dried fruits and nuts, with a touch of leather and a lighter woodiness. A smooth but well-crafted rum, a brut de fût version of which could yield something astonishing. It's worth noting that while the value for money is very good, previous editions were of similar quality for a lower price than they are now."

"An agricultural rum with an excellent quality / price ratio. A nose at the same time soft, balanced and which oscillates between the spices, the woody side, the chocolate, the freshness, the pastry notes and the dry grape. The mouth follows the same framework, followed by notes of tobacco. A round and supple rum, which ends with a fresh and minty finish. A rum that has nothing to envy other rums more "upscale"."

"14.10.2018 Nice little get together with new rum friends. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose: wood, sugarcane, citrus, fruity, light chocolate. Palate: fresh, wood, roasted, dried fruit, spice, earthy. Finish: medium long, fresh, fruity, light caramel, vegetal."

"The first impression immediately after filling the glass was wow some cool solvent notes paired with the typical agricole notes. Unfortunately, they disappear quickly. What remains is a thin, soft agricole! On the palate the thin(diluted) feeling conitues… The finish is quite short!"

"Un Trois Rivières avec un finish au Whisky, qui a marqué de son empreinte dans le produit final. Le nez est tourné vers le whisky, le bois, les épices, quelques fruits secs et des notes florales. La bouche est concentrée sur le whisky, sans apporter de réelle fantaisie. La finale est courte et assez limpide. Un rhum qui plaira aux amateurs de whisky."
