"Wurde da ein Fass vertauscht? Blind wäre ich wegen der dominierenden Minznote klar bei TDL. Einen Kubaner würde ich quasi ausschließen. Ich hatte bisher eigentlich nur langweilige Kubaner. Dieser passt überhaupt nichts ins Raster… Gunnar meinte allerdings, dass wohl alle 98er interessanter sind. Also muss ich mir mal den 98er Jahrgang genauer ansehen!"

"Compared to the parallel tasted RX930 clearly more accessible, here the lower alcohol content pays off times properly.The Bristol Cuban is a typical representative of the Destilería "Paraíso", light and fluffy and wonderfully fragrant and tasting of apple and pear.An ideal companion for a lively evening and quite offerable to friends who otherwise have nothing to do with rum.I would probably prefer the rum with 5-10% more alcohol, if he would bring the same flavors so beautifully to the fore, but he is also so a pleasant rum with recognition value."

"Cuba und Fassstärke… sehr selten im Handel… Die Nase gefällt mir recht gut, etwas Frucht, etwas Karamell, Malz und Schokolade. Am Gaumen dann klassisch Cuba.. nussig, röstig, Fass, etwas dunkle Schokolade und eine recht dunkle (gebrannte) dominierende Süße. Der Abgang reduziert das ganze dann auf Fass und gebranntem Zucker. Der Alkohol ist topp eingebunden . Mir persönlich ist diese Abfüllung zu eindimensional"

"Joa, kann man mal machen, muss man aber nicht. Typische Sancti-Spíritus-Noten, also helle Früchte wie Birne und Apfel, aber nicht sehr prägnant. Alkohol gut eingebunden, was bei 46% aber auch keine große Kunst ist. Gerade der 98er Jahrgang könnte auch etwas mehr Bums vertragen. Easy Sipper."
