Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"This one hits the nail and one of the highest proof rums that I tried where the proof is extremely well integrated. The nose is dominated by alcohol in the beginning but it settles after around 20 minutes. The you get a fruity and spice nose with toffee and cocoa/chocolate. The palate is an explosion of flavours where the barrel/oak mingles very well with caramel, chocolate and brown sugar. The finish is veeeeery long and mildly sweet with oak. This one is close to my favourite La Isla Bonita :-) "

"Had two tastings this weekend and Très Hombres was the first one. This rum kicks just the right places and I needed a drop of water to release more flavours. The oak is only there in the background, but I like that on this powerful rum. Spices, chocolate and coffee are more in the center. Lovely rum and very rare i found out. "

"Quite a classic aroma for a bourbon-fired solera. Well-integrated alcohol, fairly thick, lots of aroma, a note of vanilla, wood and candied fruit, quite strong on the finish. A very fine discovery."

"05.08.2022 A nice afternoon with other rum geeks and an evening visiting a few bars. Notres Dark in colour. Nose Light wood, vanilla, earthy, sweet, light honey, dried fruit, light caramel. Palate Oily, light wood, faint smoke, sweet, light honey, cinnamon, light caramel, raisin, light orange. Finish Long and warm, sweet, wood, raisin, light caramel, faint chocolate."

Top review from Tim :
"A mild aroma and taste of smoky cask, caramel, chocolate, raisin/red wine and vanilla. Slightly sweet, moderately complex, a little smoky spiciness, but very round and harmonious. A Spanish-style rum that deviates somewhat from the standard and has a strong woody and earthy tobacco character. Until around 2016, this rum was labeled with a port wine finish, after which it was said to have been aged in American and French oak barrels. No idea if the current version still saw port casks, but some red wine is hinted at in the profile."

"This is a solera method rum set at 21 years and a very good one. It needs to rest for at least 15 minutes before you give it a go or you'll only get the alcohol. You may also want to add a few drops of water after which the flavours are really set free. The nose is alcoholic after poring but after a while it settles and you get a fruity and vanilla mix with smoke on top. This palate is nice and complex with chocolate/cooa followed by fruit, caramel and butterscotch. Oak and some smoke ends the experience. The finish is extremely long and warm with a fruity and smoky end. "

"This is the best one from this year. Needs to rest like the other releases and with a drop of water (not really needed) you get more flavours. Resting it for 30 minutes instead of adding water was my favourite. "

"This is a great rum from Oliver & Oliver and I have just had it once more. I have tried to leave the glass for the next day and then give it a good whiff only to discover even more notes. A wonderful well balanced rum with spices and oak at its heart. A bit of oak smokiness on the day after in the glass. None the less a very good price to quality. "

"A little too sweet to get a higher score, but I like it anyway so it will have a place at my Spanish shelf further on. It’s sweet and fruity with an aroma and flavor of vanilla. At the palate and during the medium long finish it’s also somewhat rather complex."

Top review from BTHHo 🥃:
"What is in the smell, you will also find in the taste. In terms of texture and strength, the aroma and taste are perfectly balanced, so the flavors are also highly concentrated, which is great. Cedar wood, leather and chocolate dominate. Licorice, bittersweet, a hint of acid in the aftertaste 👍😁"

"It’s one of the better ones from O& O, maybe because that Agricole has a part in the blend. The finish is quite long and dry. The nose is fruity, sweet and round with aroma of citrus. At the palate and during the rather long finish it’s fruity and round with a good balance between the sweetness and dryness together with flavors of vanilla, honey and citrus."

"This is a retasting and I'll leave the old comment and change the points 😊 This is a malt finish og their normal 25 and you definitely get the barrel finish. The nose is sharp in the beginning so leave if for 15 minutes ad you get rewarded with fruits, vanilla and caramel. There is a bit of earthiness about it. The palate is mild and well rounded with a lot of tropical fruits, berries and grapes topped with vanilla and oak. The finish is medium to long with a sweet stickiness followed by fruit, cocoa and caramel."

Top review from cigares :
"Un rhum de bonne facture avec des arômes très nets. Le nez est entier, comme un dessert au caramel, avec des épices. La bouche ressemble au nez, des arômes assez simples mais très agréables. Un bon rhum dans l’ensemble mais il manque des watts, de la profondeur et de la complexité."

"A slightly clashed nose, a little alcohol, Port and sweetness. Spices and vanilla. Very spicy on the palate, still with Port. Correct length. A good rum, even if it lacks depth and watts. Wood, smoke and Port remain in the empty glass."

"This is an OK rum for sipping and also a good rum for beginners. The nose has orange and maple whe poured and once rested for a while you get brow. Sugar, nuts and cinnamon. The palate is kind of light and sweet with oak and vanilla and a bit of nuts. The finish is medium long with oak and cinnamon."

"I'd say this is the regular 30 year solera with port added to it. The nose is fruity with vanilla and caramel and a tad of fudge. The palate is sweet round with fruit and spices from the front and oak and coffee later. The Port finish is very obvious. The finish is long, sweet and oaky with the Port clear and present."

Top review from cigares :
"Un rhum de 18 ans avec un nez avec des pruneaux et des fruits secs en plus du caramel. La bouche fait la part belle à des notes de rôti, de cèdre et de la prune. La finale est assez longue avec du rôti, de la vanille et du cèdre. Un rhum bien meilleur que les 7,8,12 ans car il possède bien plus d’arômes et de complexité."

Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"This is, in my mind, the normal 30 on steroids and in a good way. A very smooth and easy to drink rum. The nose has oak, coffee and orange to it with sweet honey and caramel. The palate is balanced with oak, orange and citrus followed by sweetness from caramel, brown sugar and chocolate. It's very obvious that the finishing cask was sherry and I love that finish. The finish is long and has oak, sherry and orange to it. "
