"Brett💥🤯green apple, cookie dough, honey, pineapple, lots of ester and nail polish on the nose. Lemon zest, ginger cookies, pineapple jam and butter cookies with green granny Smith in the taste..very very cool, absolutely on par with CDI SBS, to find a winner here is really day form dependent. this one has in any case the most glue and ester in comparison... which is almost too crass for me in the finish!😅hard to make a decision here!🙈"

"Wow, the nose alone invites you to linger for hours. Intense, heavy with a pleasant coconut note and great complexity. I would have guessed Foursquare in the blind test. Less "punch" on the palate than its brothers. But very balanced and complex. Ideal "drinking strength".excellent New Yarmouth from 1994!"

"This is a pretty good rum but I'd say the price is a bit high. You can get the same quality from New Yarmouth cheaper out there. Leave it to rest for a while for the flavours to really develop. The nose is fruity with spices, nuts and wood as well as a hint of varnish. The palate is complex, well balanced and oily with fruits, wood, nuts, caramel and vanilla. The finish is medium to long with fruits, wood and caramel."

"If you expect a classic NY profile with lots of fruit esters, you'll be surprised - there's far less fruit bomb here than extremely tasty salted caramel candy. A decidedly elegant potpourri of caramel sweetness, fine minerality, vanilla, oak and subtle cocoa bitterness. In addition, tropical fruit notes, which at no time play in the foreground, but deliver an extremely entertaining play of flavors in addition to the aforementioned protagonists. Great release and a highlight among the 1994 New Yarmouths."

"sensational new yarmouth. cookie dough, very fresh menthol and allspice, creamy, harmonious and just more cookie dough and spice than the cave Guildive what I find simply hornier. and overall a little more harmonious and quaffable by the almost 3% less alcohol.simply gigantically good stuff!"

"This one was the odd one out at the tasting and what a way to close the evening. A very fresh and fruity rum once rested. The balance between the flavors is almost a perfect symphony and I like how well the ABV has been integrated. The flavours were there from opening and pouring and the empty glas was really nice at the end of the evening."

"Comparatively bitter New Yarmouth 1994, which shows the typical sweetness DNA, but in addition already shows clear aging characteristics. The barrel has worked and, in addition to the obligatory vanilla, toffee and coconut notes, also bitter wood influences and tart leather notes flow in. However, all this remains within absolutely tolerable limits; in fact, I don't dislike these rough edges, the quaffable sweetness gets a clear counterpoint. Beautiful selection."

"Once rested this is really nice and hits really well on both the nose and palate. An intense yet really well balanced rum and the nose was was really nice in the empty glass. Even the day after the glass gave some wonderful notes."

Top review from crazyforgoodbooze:
"The almost 3 years more in the barrel have done the rum in my opinion very good. Alcohol is almost perfectly integrated. Clearly smoother and quaffable as the two predecessors of RA and in my opinion also more intense typical cookie dough note, plus baking spices, lots of pineapple and banana bread and minimal citrus notes and light roast flavors. Wood is clearly perceived more intense but at no point too much. Probably the best thing CDI has brought out in a long time! And also in the Mai Tai he topped the two RA's again clearly because the additional wood here simply brings more harmony purely. Mega delicious just!"

"After some rum break started with proven. Find this mixture of brine and ester what I find here today just great. Am not sure how the rum has changed in the meantime, but I should drink more of it 😅In the blind tasting not recognized but this drop has such a complexity since it needs its time. Has mighty power and reverberates. Great cinema! At the nose you have to pass but first 😄 but then you can go on the trip! 😋Very nice bottling that shows typical ester and glue notes. Slightly astringent on the palate. As far as actually good - very good Jamaica standard. Here knows then especially the beautiful, slightly salty finish with some marzipan and fruity creaminess to convince."

"This one is really good and the ABV has been integrated really well. Once rested you barely get the 58.3%. Fresh and fruity with light cinnamon and lovely wood. Kind of sweet on the palate."
