"Auch wenn ich kein Barbados-Fan bin und die wenigsten Mount Gays mir zusagen, so catcht mich dieser Rum irgendwie doch. Im Gegensatz zu seinem Bruder aus dem Rumclub deutlich ausgewogener und harmonischer. Sowohl die Rauchigkeit, als diese gewisse pflanzliche Note (die ich immer noch nicht identifizieren kann), sind deutlich dezenter vorhanden und ergeben somit ein runderes Gesamtbild. Die Verdünnung empfinde ich als unnötig, fällt jedoch erstaunlich wenig auf und trägt dazu bei, dass es fast schon ein Easy-Sipper sein könnte. Lecker, spannend und vor allen mal (zumindest für mich) mal etwas anderes. Man darf eben nie aufhören, auch vermeintlich bekanntes neu zu probieren!"

"Amazingly fruity . Coconut, orange and dried fruit... Somewhat musty woody but somehow interesting and delicious . I'm not really a big Barbados fan but it's delicious. It's also for me 100% not a Foursquare but a Mount Gay that you smell and taste immediately ... very enjoyable 😋"

"Mega lecker, sehr harmonisch und für mich wohl einer der besten mount Gays am Markt! Alkohol perfekt integriert Geschmacklich trifft Portwein auf dunkle Schokolade, Kokos und Banane. Sehr sehr geil! :)"

"#4121 First off, price to quality is pretty good in my mind. Intense and fruity with a well balanced ABV. Despite the age the wood isn't dominant but rather well balanced with the other flavours. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass is very nice and I can pick up some chocolate and pineapple."

"04-05.11.2022 Den Danske Rom & Whiskyfestival 2022. Another return to this big event where many people go to get drunk. Once again we had a special event for a select set of people. Notes. Not a bad rum with nice fruits once rested for a good while. If you don't rest it it'll bite you. Smoky/roasted wood with a herbal touch. Very long and warm finish."

"A fine rum, especially for the beautiful, flavorful finish. The alcohol lacks a little integration. The nose is alcoholic but rather fresh, with tangerine peel and a hint of acetone. The palate is a little weak, the aromas not developing much. Citrus fruits provide freshness."
