"Nice rum but without being crazy. Bought to have a bar with mid-range rums for friends coming to have an aperitif. Very smooth, almost no finish but easy to drink! I think that the 40% does not play in its favor but it remains a very good value for money!"

"No surprise here that this is a vanilla heavy sweet rum. Initially I wasn't very sure about this one as the vanilla is initial a bit overwhelming. You can smell and taste the real vanilla bean in here no artificial stuff there (but you never know) and has a nice spicy kick at the end. Nice to see for a change that a spiced rum has been at least bottled at 40% abv so it can take a little water which actually calms the vanilla down a little bit and opens up the other citrus and spicy flavours. Can see this working really well in cocktails although I expect you will have to do some experimenting to get the vanilla balance right. Very nice with coconut water"
