"Vanillemark, Cola, mango/pfirsich-schwarztee und balsamico, sowie grüne Walnusslikör Noten an der Nase. extrem komplex, süß, vielseitig und Intensiv. geschmacklich: dunkel, bitter, leicht säuerlich, malzig, schokoladig, Mokka und schwarzer Kardamom, Ceylon Tee, grüner Tee mit Minze, medjoul Datteln, Dörrpflaumen sowie extrem geile intensive und pure Melasse & Cola Noten! absoluter wahnsinn, das das Ding nach 38y nicht nur noch nach Holz schmeckt. geiler Stoff und flüssige Geschichte. deutlich weniger holzig als erwartet, diese intensive, dickflüssige Melasse, grüne Walnuss und Pflaumen Note ist einfach gigantisch! Nur Preislich wären 200€ weniger eher angemessen..."

"Absolut erstaunlich wie intensiv der ist mit seinen 46% ABV. An der Nase rote Früchte, Tabak, Vanille und Lack / Lösungsmittel. Am Gaumen Kirschbaumholz, Tabak, Mokka und Gummi. So positiv überrascht von einem ‚46er’ war ich das letzte Mal beim CdI Kaiman!"

"This is also an older tasting and at the release the price was very good compared to what you got. This rum is heavy, really heavy and it hits you as soon as you open the bottle. I'm not a certain but I made a note that I thought there was a hint of raisin in there. The nose is heavy on roasted wood with tar, molasses and some nuts. The palate is heavy, very complex and extremely well balanced with lots of roasted, even burnt wood actually, tar, molasses and a hint of mint. The finish goes on forever and has lots of roasted/burnt wood and tar. The note I have is that the colour was beautifully dark, bomb of a nose and heavy curtains in the glass."
