"#19th dec RumXCalendar Blind tasting: Nose: licorice, dark chocolate, coconut Mouth: caramel, coconut, roasted, dark chocolate, vanilla, barrel notes Finish: long, woody, roasted, barrel notes I enjoyed it, but couldn’t find any notes of the port wine cask :/ I think it should be from Antigua ca.60% 6 years of aging"

"Johannes Blind-Tasting-Set Nr. 7: Der Rum benötigt Zeit im Glas…dann entfaltet er ein schönes Aroma mit Trockenfrüchten, Würze und Holz. Und alles im schönen ausgewogenen Wechselspiel.. Alkohol sehr gut eingebunden. Gelungener Sipper"

"#4921 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Fresh, light wood, light nutts, vegetal, light salt, light sugarcane, raisins. Palate Warm, dry, medium spicy, light wood, faint roasted, fruits, raisin, herbal, light salt, spice, light grass. Finish Long and warm, dry, light wood, light prunes, medium spicy, faint salt, raisin. This is a pretty good release and the price is OK. If you add a few drops of water it opens up a lot and releases more flavours."
