"The cashew note on the nose bothers me a little (reminds me of Montaguere's Karukera Christian). It fades after a long opening. The palate, on the other hand, has what I like in these great Martiniquais: elegant oak and gourmet nuts, refreshed just right by the spices."

"Incredibly good barrel strength Agricole! Extremely complex and intense after green and red chilies, some coconut, banana, honey, plum and cherry, as well as ginger and herbs. The whole thing continues the same way on the palate and the alcohol is surprisingly well integrated. In addition, not too woody for such an old agricole. It gets a bit smokier on the finish, with toasted coconut and some green chile coming back.... Damn this one is really fun! 🤤 Probably by far one of the best depaz of all time!"

"I got this wonderfull sample from Joachim! Thanks man 🤜🏻 This is an awesome and delicious agricole🤤🤤 Nose: Sugarcane, herbal and floral, orange, leather, cinnamon and licorice. Mouth: Full bodied, less fruity. Finish: Long and delicious. The alcohol is integrated well. Blindly i gave it >45%. Great price per value ratio!!!"

"18.07.2020 A nice tasting at my friends place including a nice dinner. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, intense, wood, dried fruit, light nutts, sugarcane, faint caramel, tannins. Palate Intense, fresh, wood, tannins, dry, burnt, sugarcane, dried fruit, faint caramel. Finish Long, wood, fruits, sugarcane, light smoke."

"On the nose come exciting notes towards green apple, herbaceous freshness, dried fruit, milk chocolate and caramel, but also a fair amount of solvent. On the palate, however, the Depaz comes across quite gruff, alcoholic spiciness, lots of (young) barrel, apple, salty finish. The nose convinces, on the palate, unfortunately, he can not keep up."

"This was the last rum during our trip to Amsterdam and it was also really good. Price to quality is very good in my mind. The nose is fresh and fruity with wood, cane, caramel and and spices. The palate is balanced and oily with fruits, roasted wood, spices, cane, nuts and light notes of grass. The finish is medium long with wood, tropical fruits, spices and light nutty notes."

At the same time major changes in our company has also started thoughts running around in my head. Remember to hug and cherish your family bacause you never know when it's your time. This rum is really nice and fruity with nice Agricole notes. Well balanced and ABV is well integrated. The palate is lightly oily with some chocolate. The finish is long and warm with some nice orange. The empty glass has some chocolate and light licorice."

"Klassische Depaz-Marker in der Nase. Getrocknete Früchte, Würze (vor allem etwas Lakriz), Holz und pflanzliche Noten. Leichte Süße. Kräftig und sehr ausgewogen. Könnte ruhig komplexer sein. Im Mund geht es ähnlich weiter, sehr, sehr würzig und reichlich Kraft. 💪🏾 Mittellanger Abgang der zuerst schön prickelt und dann ordentlich wärmt. Mit etwas Wasser wird er sehr pflanzlich. Toller Agricole. Typisches Depaz-Profil mit reichlich Kraft. 🤩🤩🤩 Unterschiede zum Rum Club? Aus dem Gedächtnis vielleicht etwas würziger und weniger komplex, aber meine Hand würde ich dafür nicht ins Feuer legen. 🔥🔥🔥"

"A Single Cask from Depaz that's more gourmet than agricultural. The nose is rich with dried fruit and candied orange, spicy wood, tobacco and chocolate notes. The attack on the palate is just as round and balanced. Fruit mingles with spices, walnuts and sweet caramel notes, rounding out the finish with delicate oak and a hint of sugarcane in the background.The finish lingers on tannic, woody, toasty and spicy notes that add extra character. A full-bodied, masterful Depaz that would have deserved a few more degrees to be truly perfect."

"A lovely, well-crafted Depaz. The nose is very fruity (exotic fruit, dried fruit and citrus), combining well with the sweetness of spices, delicate toasted notes, the finesse of wood and the freshness of sugarcane. On the palate, the attack is a little drier and firmer, with notes of agricultural greenery, dried fruit, warmer spices and a touch of cocoa on the wood. The finish, of good length, is even warmer and drier, with a certain bitterness. The fruity, woody and spicy notes are released and give a lovely roundness. A very fine Depaz, sophisticated, elegant, colorful and available at a very reasonable price."

"Overall a typical AOC Blanc Agricole possible to sip thats probably great in a Ti Punch. On the nose it’s very fragrant with fruity, floral and spicy aromas. At the palate it’s quite strong with its 55% but also sweet and very savory with fruity, spicy and floral flavors."

"Tasted with the Depaz XO prestige, it is better in the mouth and the finish is more interesting despite a lower price. The nose is less interesting than the XO. In mouth a peaty side absent in the nose, dried fruits and tropical fruits. The finish is floral with violet."

"A very smooth white agricultural rum. A lovely agricultural freshness perfumes the nostrils, with earthy, herbaceous and vegetal notes, accompanied by citrus fruits (lemon) that round out the angles. A hint of salt underscores the subtlety of the nose. The attack on the palate is ample, supple and pleasant. Citrus and dried fruit dominate the palate, leaving sugarcane and its vegetal notes more in the background. Round, fresh and very well structured. The finish, of decent length, is surprisingly warm, dry and slightly spicy. Vegetal and earthy flavors come back to the fore, in the face of citrus. A very fine cuvée that will delight all Ti Punch lovers."

"Overall a very good Port Cask Finished Agricole that I tasted at the Sweden (Stockholm) Rumfest 2024. It has first been aged for at least 8 years whereafter it’s finished during 11 months in former Port Casks. At nose is oak, vanilla, chocolate and ripe fruits recognizable. In mouth and at the palate is flavors of oak, vanilla and chocolate detectable together with notes of port, hazelnut, dried fruits and cocoa. During the rather long finish is beside the above, notes of jasmine, coffee and plum found."
