Wild Series Rum Enmore No. 15 MEC
Top review from Steffmaus🇩🇰:
"One of my favorite rums I've tasted. I feared the long time in wood would do something to the taste, but it didn't; amazing taste! You can really feel this is a 33 year old rum. Rounded taste of burnt caramel, dried fruits and wood"
Marrons de la Liberté
Top review from Tschusikowsky:
"Sweetness present here as well. Alcohol very well integrated. No idea what's in there, but it tastes fierce Caroni. Really good stuff.Edit: RumX Advent 1.12.22Chocolate, espresso, tar, slightly smoky, finish rubber, red and dried fruit, tingling on the tongueNice bouquet, finish lasts a long time. I taste the rum the next day still in the throat 🤤Before the resolution I thought: of this I would like a bottle...and behold 🥰"
El Dorado High Ester Blend LBI/DHE
Top review from DomM:
"Finally we have a convincing El Dorado OB again! On the nose the LBI is in the focus with coconut, vanilla, caramel and some chocolate. The DHE adds some glue-y notes and fresh fruits. The blend works very nice on the nose providing a nice and (more) complex twist on a nice Guyana column still nose. On the palate the DHE is more present - some funk and fruit notes alongside vanilla, chocolate and some wood. Nice creamy texture."
Flashback series #3 ABV
Top review from crazyforgoodbooze:
"Very unusual fresh almost green uitvlugt. Great is especially the note of fresh lemon peel. All in all dominates for me but times again the chewed and slightly coked pencil with which I do not warm. Of the fruit notes described here I perceive nothing ... Maximum something lavender medicinal tea but that's it then also😄"
Versailles 2006
Top review from Jakob:
"Unsurprisingly, the 2006s are quite similar on the nose: dried fruit, subtle spicy and woody notes. What stands out for me in direct comparison is a mineral note that also remains present on the palate. In addition, the obligatory dried plum, leather, licorice, wood, some roasted aromas and caramel sweetness. Aromatic with an appealing complexity. For me, the slight minerality is the most recognizable feature. Overall balanced and with pleasant alcohol integration. In contrast, however, the other 2006s bring significantly more aromatic complexity, here everything seems a little too dull in comparison. We remain at a high level, no question, but in the slipstream of the other representatives of the vintage. In comparison to the 1994 representatives, I repeat my impressions of the other 2006s: much less heaviness, the plum notes appear here more in tandem with currants, the dark tones of wood, licorice, leather and caramel are much less pronounced. Despite the aromatic complexity of this bottling, I am inclined to call it "REV Light". The spectrum of the 2006s also has its charm and the character is undoubtedly recognizable, but in my eyes the REV profile benefits greatly from the long ageing and the resulting complexity. However, the reference points for the younger bottlings can also be described as almost unfair, especially for proven lovers of the 1994 REVs."
Big Mama Full Proof Private Stock
Top review from Roman Lelek:
"I am not big fan of Guayana rum, but I have to admit that this one is really good- I like the mixture of fruity and medicinal or chemical tones. The nose is quite light - almonds, wood, ground or peat…i don’t feel fruits at all. The color is also quite light yellow.. The taste is developing from fresh fruity notes to woody and medical."
El Dorado 25 Grand Special Reserve
Top review from Stefan Persson:
"A truly fantastic rum, but it’s always discussable if it’s worth the money. Fantastic nose of Demerara sugar, caramel and chocolate. At the palate it’s very complex, well balanced and elegant and after that a fantastic finish."
Guyana Diamond VSG
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"I love this rum because of its fruitiness and I have an extra backup on the shelf. The nose is really fruity with spices. The palate is lightly bitter, yet sweet and balanced. Fruity from the start with spices and oa with a hint of varnish. The finish is long and lightly bitter with roasted oak and caramel. Price to quality is very good. "
S.B.S Guyana (Bourbon Cask)
Top review from Filip Kalinovský:
"Ohh proste chutovka 👍🏼🙏🏼pokud se sezene jeste nejaka dalsi flaska tak urcite beru do zasoby. ——————————————————- Prechutnano a musim podotknout ze to je proste super rum, zacatek pekne nasladla vune s orisky cokoladou karamelem , chut drevo, koreni, silne procenta alkoholu a paradne to zahreje, v ustech vam uplne vybuchne. Konec dlouhy hrejivy cokoladovo vanilkovy."
Port Mourant
Top review from lukasdrinkinghabits:
"Very similar to the RomDeLuxe 2005 - but not quite as round and smooth and also not as complex. But the same markers: aniseed, continental fruit, oak, plus a slight mustiness from wet cardboard - the sweet yeast pastry from the RDL is unfortunately missing. The mouth is a little thin with olive and brine and some musty wood just behind the aniseed. As with the RDL, the bitterness is well balanced. The dry finish is unfortunately a little flat with a hint of hay. Overall, a good PM that lacks a little complexity. I would always prefer the RDL."
Guyana Diamond VSG
Top review from TheRhumhoe:
"A rum from Guyana that starts with a nice nose full of fruits (pineapple, apple, peach and lemon), spices, wood and caramel that blend harmoniously. The palate is more brutal, turned to spices (chili pepper in particular), vanilla wood and a touch of bitterness that contrasts with the exuberance of the fruits on the nose. We also detect notes of licorice. The rum is dry but quite creamy in the mouth. The finish is medium long with the same bitter, licorice, wood, spice, caramel and vanilla notes. A contrasting rum but diverse in flavors."
S.B.S Guyana
Top review from Tim :
"Herbal tea meets Guyana. Well, nose still exciting / complex (herbal, nutty, roasty, fruity) and makes you want more, but in the mouth then woody, dry, spicy, tart. Would have liked more roasted flavors, caramel and fruit. In the finish a lot of licorice, spices and dried fruit, which what does not quite meet my taste."

Top review from Timo Groeger:
"Wow, ein klasse Demerara. In der Nase überwiegend Schokolade, aber auch Malz und Fass sind zu erkennen. Am Gaumen dann ebenfalls überwiegend Schokolade (dunkle), aber auch Kakao und Holz sind zu erkennen. Alkohol super eingebunden, gefällt."
Guyana from PM Still
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"08.10.2021 Enjoying some samples at home. Notes Light to medium dark in colour. Nose Light wood, faint smoke, dried fruit, plum, faint marzipan, light metallic, faint olive. Palate Round, balanced, wood, light roasted, medium dry, spice, clove, light prunes, faint citrus, light metallic, faint nutts. Finish Medium to long, wood, dried fruit, faint smoke, light medicinal, spice."
El Dorado 15 (2020 Release)
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"Compared to the old sweeter version this one is a step forward. Instead of the sugar covering your palate you get a more hones and slightly spicy palate. The wood is there and so are the spices and semi heavy caramel, but it is a far better version. If you get the chance then give it a try. Price to quality is very good."
El Dorado 21 (2020 Release)
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"I love that they have reduced the sugar content to near zero. This has improved the quality of this rum a lot. Nice and fruity with spices and a warm palate. Draws nice curtains and the empty glass is really nice."
El Dorado Single Still Port Mourant
Top review from Serge:
"As with the EHP and VSG, a great nose that unfortunately - thanks to extreme dilution - cannot deliver on the palate as it actually could. Apart from the dilution, a beautiful PM with sweetness, licorice/aniseed, fruit, wood and without the often disturbing saltiness or too much herbs. It may have been sweetened a little here."
El Dorado Single Still Enmore
Top review from DomM:
"Well I was very exited to try those single still releases… this is exactly what I would hope for DDL released on a larger scale (and hopefully at a half reasonable price). All three show the common characteristics you would expect and love about DDL‘s stills. No need for blended in the barrel / finishes / obscure leftover casks. Unfortunately, the reduction to 40% ABV is basically a crime against humanity 🙈 While the noses are surprisingly intense, on the palate all three releases are way to thin to deliver the profile competently. Nevertheless all seem in a good place after 12 years of tropical aging and as there are also limited higher ABV bottles available there is a chance for genuinely amazing OB release from DDL in the future. Fingers crossed."
El Dorado 12 (2020 Release)
Top review from Stefan Persson:
"Had 6cl of it after a better dinner at a local restaurant. It’s long time ago since I tasted the old 12yo with 35gpl sugar, but I’m pretty sure I like this new one with 6gpl sugar better. Overall an pleasant well balanced rum with a certain complexity."
Demerara Rum Solera No. 14 2016
Top review from Michael Ihmels 🇩🇪:
"Hier ein Rum Nation Rum. Man kann ich gut trinken aber es gibt durchaus bessere von dieser Marke. Schmeckt schon sehr süß und nach Kandis und kandierten Früchten. Auch in der Nase schon sehr süß. Trotzdem durchaus lecker"
Plantation One-Time Limited Edition
Top review from Gunnar Böhme "Bauerngaumen" 🤓:
"Had somehow hoped this rum would be a worthy Guyana counterpart to the outstanding OTL from Trinidad (RX9683), but was quite disappointed. 🙄 Find this rum just thin and flat and one-dimensional. Too bad. 🥴After all, the PLV is (was) still quite ok and the rum will find its lovers (he already has)."
El Dorado 21
Top review from Stefan Persson:
"Completely different from the “12” & “15”, it’s much drier but still a little too sweet. The new 2020 release is even drier and therefore even better, but this old one is still a very good buy in its price range."
Plantation Guyana 2008 (Red Pineau Charentes Cask)
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"The nose starts off alcoholic but after resting for 15 minutes it changes to a nice smoky nose with honeysuckle, varnish and molasses/bourbon. The palate is nice and warm with a charred smoky start going into dried fruit, caramel and a bit of spices. The finish is long, medium dry and warm with pepper and a tad off smoke."
El Dorado 12
Top review from Stefan Persson:
"It’s quite sweet, almost too sweet. The new 2020 release is therefore much better. It tastes a lot of Demerara sugar. But I believe it’s one of the better entries to the rum world if you still can get a hold of a bottle."
Guyana Single Estate XO
Top review from Steffmaus🇩🇰:
"Time to finish up the 1423 Christmas calendar "24 days of rum". This one had some oak and spicyness in the nose to me, and some spice hints of dried fruit and an oily mouthfeel. I find the alcohol could have been better integrated"
El Dorado 5
Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"This one became a favorite with my friends once I made a daiquiri with it. El Dorado 5 year old Fresh lime juice Maple syrup Mix rate 2/1/1 1 Banana 1 Fresh vanilla bean Scrape out the vanilla bean and put everything into a blender with ice cubes. If you have a high ABV demerara you can add one part to add a kick to it. "
