"Overall it’s a very kind Agricole, maybe too kind. The nose is fruity, pleasant and floral but weak with aroma of sugarcane. At the palate it’s sweet, fruity and smooth with flavors of vanilla, grass and sugarcane. The finish is short to medium and smooth."

"This is a retaste and I still love it. Yesterday I got this one delivered and I just had to sample it once it was at normal temperature. The nose is typical Agricole with a lot of overripe fruits and a grassy note. There is some sugar there too. The palate is wonderful and an explosion of flavours. Again Agricole comes to mind with a lot of fruits. Slightly bitter with tobacco, smoke and oak and a hint of floral touch. The finish is medium to long, sweet with papaya and toasted oak."

"Clement Canne Bleue made from just blue cane is a limited AOC Agricole that is released yearly, since the year 2000, in small quantities. So this 17th edition. The aromas makes me feel that I’m having an Ti Punch in my glass. It also makes a extremely smooth Ti Punch, even without sugar."

"#4792 21.07.2024 Got a set of unaged samples from a friend and had some time to enjoy them during the day. Nose Fresh, intense, vegetal, light citrus, sugarcane, light olive. Palate Round, balanced, light earthy, sugarcane, medium spicy, light olive, sake, citrus. Finish Medium long, fresh, citrus, vegetal. The empty glass has stronger sake like flavours as well as a touch of flowers."

"#4079 When looking at the price tag you get a lot for your money with this release. And if you like Agricole blanc then you won't be disappointed. Fresh and well balanced profile. Not as fruity as many other Agricoles bit the cane is there and so are the Agricole notes."

"I got a sample of this rum from a friend and I wasn't disappointed. It belongs up with the best of the Clements I have sampled so far. The nose starts off very intense, so it needs to rest after which it's still intense, but the ABV burn in the nose dissipates. The Agricole flavours are there with grass and nice oak. Fruity with vanilla and a hint of leather The palate is also intense and dry, but in a very nice way. Oak and spices mix very well with fruit and nuts. The finish is long and dry with oak, spices and fruit."

"Ein direkter Geschwistervergleich der beiden Robert Peronet‘s. Der 2002er kommt etwas kräftiger daher. Das fängt an der Nase an und setzt sich bis zum Abgang fort. Er liegt deutlicher auf der fruchtigen und würzigen Seite. Ich nehme viel mehr Traube und Piment wahr. Der 2000er ist komplexer und eleganter. Der 2002er in Maßen etwas wilder, aber nur dezent. Beides sind erstklassige Agricoles"

"The taste has a nice volume on the palate and the sugarcane juice, with its spicy patina, is also characterized by velvety aromatics and nuts. The finish is fresh sugar cane with a bit of lime peel - A rum that probably won't be to everyone's taste, but I actually think it's quite interesting 😁"

"When this rum was released the price to quality was extremely good. Fruity from nose to finish with a spicy/peppery touch. The tannins and wood is very heavy on this one and many may not like that. If you get the chance of trying this rum, try and leave the glass for the following day or a few hours and you'll be rewarded with a wonderful nose."
