"A particularly expressive Thai rum, which carries on the nose notes of vegetal and floral freshness, tropical fruits, spices and a touch of varnish. This strength is reflected in the palate: the rum is warm, intense and powerful with metallic and spicy notes (notably chili), but balances very well with the minty freshness, the saline touch, the tropical fruits and the sugar cane. The finish, rather average in length, underlines the small details raised in the mouth (saline and iodine notes) and the sugar cane and pepper. A proof that Thailand, with the right know-how, can produce very good rums."

"Eine coole kleine Destillerie in Thailand unter französischer Führung. Die ganze Produktion ist Bio und sie haben faire Kooperationen mit lokalen Zuckerrohr-Bauern. Leider darf man in Thailand kein Booze über 40 ABV herstellen und verkaufen🤪 Über Frankreich sei aber ein Overproof erhältlich, der dürfte sehr spannend sein. Ti‘Punch mit dem eigens hergestellten Sirup war excellent. Pur fehlt es jedoch an Kraft im Geschmack. Trotzdem guter Rum."

"Rhum infusé par vapeur au basilic durant la distillation ce petit jus de Thaïlande a sa petite patte qui le rend reconnaissable entre mille. Le nez est particulièrement marqué par le basilic, la fraîcheur des herbes aromatiques et des agrumes, le litchi, la canne à sucre et les épices (piment, paprika). Un profil surprenant, un peu loufoque mais très agréable. L’attaque en bouche est d’une bonne rondeur. Même si on est qu’à 40%, les saveurs s’affirment avec le basilic et les notes herbacées, les fruits exotiques, le citron vert et la canne à sucre, mais aussi les épices (anis, piment) et un goût umami qui donne du relief en bouche. C’est très gouleyant et doux. La finale est assez longue, gardant la même trame sur ces notes végétales et fruitées, légèrement épicées. Même s’il ne s’agit pas d’un grand rhum, cela reste une bonne surprise qui se boit (trop) bien et à un prix attractif."

"Really nice nose - but taste unfortunately really very woody, bitter sour and extremely dry and furry astringent ... Here, the otherwise so beautiful fruity spicy Chalong bay rum unfortunately has no chance against Armagnac cask and Virgin oak to arrive... Too bad! Had I hoped for more of."

"Ich habe 4 verschiedene Abfüllung nach meinem Distillery Besuch mit nach Deutschland genommen. Ich finde den „puren“ Rum sehr mild, frisch und grasig. Für mich könnte er noch ein paar ABV mehr vertragen. Aber als Ti Punch für Freunde die die es etwas milder mögen, einfach super."

"I got this one for free from my supplier in Germany today and I must admit that it requires a special palate. Wow, this is unique and close to an Agricole rum. Very strong and dominant flavour from sugarcane from nose to finish. The nose has sugarcane as the dominant flavour followed by fruits and a lot of flowers. The palate is spicy with a flowery earthy touch to it. It is light and at the same time intense. The finish is long and silky with spices and fruits. This is a true like it or not 😊"
