"Tasting this rum was a lot of fun. Excellent agricultural well balanced with a slight roastiness. You can feel the barreliness and vanilla all slightly peppery. Tropical fruits dominate especially on the finish where banana and grapes take over, very marginally instead tobacco/cigar and roastiness that will fade quickly. Not knowing uitvlug rums I couldn't tell how much this cask affected. Truly pleasant with many nuances!"

"Chemie, Gras und schwarze Oliven und dabei sehr komplex. Klingt nicht gut und sicher nichts für schwache Herzen. Aber trotzdem interessant und gar nicht so schlecht. Der Punk-Rum, die Sex Pistols hätten ihn geliebt."

"#4518 09.12.2023 This is a nice and fruity rum in good balance. The palate is fresh and lightly salty with light citrus notes. The finish is medium long with light olive and a faint smoky note. The empty glass has a faint rubber nlte and light caramel."

"By buying this bottle the proceeds go to charity for the hard hit people of Haiti! Unlike the vaval you can feel less of the whiskey barrel imprint but still it is a very easy drinking rum is very fruity! You open it on a carefree evening with your friends!"

"Série comparative de Clairins ansyens. Le même que le Casimir WHKCA1 sauf le fût. Un tout petit peu moins bien noté. Grosses différences dues au fût. Le nez est assez agressif avec du vernis à ongles, de l’acétone et de l’alcool. La bouche est vive et ample mais avec une profondeur limitée. La finale est ténue, trop marquée par le fumé et le whisky. Regouté et bien moins bon, pas équilibré. Merci Dr. Django pour l’échantillon."
