"Bologne Old Black Cane is like the name says made from black cane. Itâs a blend aged between 3 and 6 years in French oak barrels that have previously contained cognac before bottled. Overall a good Agricole as all rum from the Bologne distillery is."

"This was a very nice surprise. When opening the bottle you get a very fresh and fruity note right away. Very fruity with cane from nose to finish. I love the balance of the fruit and spices and there is a faint floral note in there as well. Lovely white rum."

"A great Rhum thatâs very smooth and elegant on the palate and during the finish. The only negative is that the nose is a little weak. The nose is spicy and woody with aromas of sugarcane. At the palate and during the rather long finish itâs also spicy and woody but also floral, complex and very smooth with flavors of dried fruit."

"Bologne Le Distillat Brut de Colonne from Guadeloupe is made from red and black cane, distilled in the distillerys copper column and thereafter rested for 18 months and as for a Brut de Colonne then bottled without any reduction at 75,5%. Overall an Agricole that has an exceptional roundness for its high ABV."

"A white rum in the pure agricultural tradition, as Bologna knows how to make them. The nose is a skilful blend of the greenness of sugarcane fields, tangy fruitiness with lemon zest, spiciness with pepper and mineral notes. The profile is round and expressive. The attack on the palate is bold, bursting with spices (aniseed, cloves) to intensify the profile. Vegetal and citrus notes support the assertive tone of this fairly dry Bologna. The mouthfeel is thick and slightly creamy, which is quite pleasant. The alcohol is well integrated, but this profile is sharper than conventional whites. The finish is very long, carried by the spices (chillies in particular) which bring their warmth, while the herbaceous notes balance out the balance of power. Exotic fruit and sugarcane share the finish. An elaborate Bologna, perfect for spicy Ti Punch."

"Not a bad rum actually especially thinking about the price tag. The nose have nice spices and toasted notes trailed by plums and a bit of chocolate. The palate is well rounded, sweet and spicy at the same time with candied fruit, chocolate and cinnamon with a hint of chocolate and toffee. The finish is medium long and sweet with dried fruit, spices and some toffee."

"Direkt aus Guadeloupe mitgebracht bekommen, darĂŒber habe ich mich sehr gefreut! FĂŒr 61% sehr gut trinkbar, auch pur, aber macht sich auch gut im Daiquiri. Spannend ist vor allem die buttrig-kĂ€sige Note. Klingt komisch, ist aber geil!"

"This was a huge surprise because once rested the ABV comes of as very well integrated. I could pick up the flavours as soon as I opened the bottle and they only grew stronger while resting. Fruity and fresh with a real Agricole nose and palate. The price to quality is very good in my mind."

"Bologne Black Cane Blanc, after 48h of fermentation âthe vesouâ is distilled in the distilleryâs copper Savalle column whereafter itâs slowly reduced from 70 to 50%. Overall a very smooth, elegant and almost luxurious Agricole Blanc. Actually one of the best Iâve tasted for a long time."

"Das ist mein erster Les Confidentiels⊠und so richtig Freunde werden wir nicht! Die Nase st okay, am Gaumen missfÀllt mir der wahrlich nicht gut integrierte Alkohol. Als stÀrkere Aromen entwickeln sich fmich Schokolade und Fasseinschlag. Die typische pflanzliche Agricole-Note entwickelt sich erst spÀt im Abgang"

"Un rhum agricole classique mais Ă©quilibrĂ© et avec un bon rapport qualitĂ© / prix. Le nez est sur les agrumes, la canne Ă sucre vĂ©gĂ©tale et sucrĂ©e, accompagnĂ© par une touche Ă©picĂ©e et de confiserie sur le nougat et le massepain. Câest un profil doux et agrĂ©able. Lâattaque en bouche est plus sĂšche et Ă©picĂ©e, le piment venant affĂ»ter le jus une fois en bouche. Les notes herbacĂ©es sont plus vives et les fruits sont un peu plus marquĂ©s dans lâensemble. Lâalcool est bien intĂ©grĂ©. On retrouve une finale de bonne facture, avec une touche de foin, dâherbe et de canne Ă sucre qui accentue le cĂŽtĂ© sec. Les Ă©pices apporte un peu de caractĂšre et les fruits davantage de rondeur. Un profil trĂšs conventionnel mais de qualitĂ©, qui fera des merveilles en Ti Punch."

"Thinking about the price tag this is a very nice rum actually. The nose is fresh and woody with spices and fruit. The palate is also fresh and woody with spices and fruit trailed by chocolate. The finish is medium long and woody with fruit and spices as well as chocolate. Leave the empty glass for a few hours and then try to nose it again. Then you will get even stronger flavours and especially the chocolate shines through."
