"Price to quality on this one can be argued, but it is a pretty decent rum. The nose has candied fruit as well as dried fruit and floral notes trailed by a light woody note. The palate is lightly woody with dried fruit, vanilla, coffee and chocolate and a hint of nuts. The finish is long and has wood, spices trailed by coffee and a touch of raisin."

"Das ist mein erster Les Confidentiels… und so richtig Freunde werden wir nicht! Die Nase st okay, am Gaumen missfällt mir der wahrlich nicht gut integrierte Alkohol. Als stärkere Aromen entwickeln sich fmich Schokolade und Fasseinschlag. Die typische pflanzliche Agricole-Note entwickelt sich erst spät im Abgang"

"Thinking about the price tag this is a very nice rum actually. The nose is fresh and woody with spices and fruit. The palate is also fresh and woody with spices and fruit trailed by chocolate. The finish is medium long and woody with fruit and spices as well as chocolate. Leave the empty glass for a few hours and then try to nose it again. Then you will get even stronger flavours and especially the chocolate shines through."

"Bologne Le Distillat Brut de Colonne from Guadeloupe is made from red and black cane, distilled in the distillerys copper column and thereafter rested for 18 months and as for a Brut de Colonne then bottled without any reduction at 75,5%. Overall an Agricole that has an exceptional roundness for its high ABV."

"Such an amazing white rhum agricole, the black cane ( little black cane ) was an abandoned variety of cane due to it's lacke of yield ( efficiency) Bologne preserved it because of it's exceptional aromatic potential. The little black cane will please you with it's fruity and sunny flavor"

"Un bon mixeur mais à ce prix là on peut pas s’attendre à un grande expérience degustative. C’est bon, habile, mais pas très intense où savoureux et évidemment il manque du profondeur. Mon premier Bologne et vu la jeune âge il y a du potentiel dans cette marque. Hâte de goûter des autres tôt ou tard."
