"I usually don't really like these sugared Spanish-style rums and I even doubt that the age statements of the Malteco rum-line can be trusted but the 'vintages' from them are very, very tasty and I like them a lot. Update: Now too thin for me, good daily sipper though."

"Ein Gang guter Rum, in der Nase Vanille, Karamell und geröstete Nüsse, im Gaumen kommt dann noch Schokolade dazu. Für mich ist dieser Rum aber einen Ticken zu süss und er hat irgendwie einen komischen Nachfeschmack."

"I received this as a small sample and I must say it's not too bad. For fans of rum raisin, it's very pleasant. Of course, there's probably some added sugar in there, but still, well-integrated alcohol. In my opinion, a pretty good easy sipper. There are a lot of Spanish ones on the market, but they're not as good as this one."
