Top review from Oliver:
"Wow, this is really fun. Plenty of power in the nose and on the palate - without being too strenuous. There's a pleasant fruit brandy/grappa note on the palate that I've never had in a rum before. Exciting bottling!"

Top review from Galli33:
"It‘s a very good complex and delicious rum with a nice lovely fruity/roasted/woody Profile. Only minus is that tje Alcohol could be intergrated better. If you add some drops of water, it will help a lot. For me one of the best rums of 2021 Nose: fruity, banana, blackberry, overripe fruits, mandarin, apricot, alcoholic, varnish, ginger, spicy, tobacco Mouth: Full bodied, strong, dry, elegant, intense, oak, vanilla, roasted, spicy, dried fruits, dried currants, banana, green apple Finish: medium long, astrigend, dry, delicious, young wood, oak, tannins, burnt sugar #bottlekill"

"What a board! This is probably the most quaffable and at the same time the oldest Australian I have drunk so far... Incredibly intense after peach iced tea, apricot compote and mirabelle jam with vanilla, peach brandy in a wooden barrel (like the gölles I have), surprisingly little wood notes, some floral honey, jasmine tea, croissant with bitter orange jam and just extremely delicious and a surprisingly long finish. The alcohol content is also extremely well integrated.... In short: I'm just blown away by this Australian!😍 I really would not have expected!🐨 Am glad that I got me 2 bottles!"

Top review from Rare Akuma:
"Initially I did not have a satisfying experience with this rum. Despite certain hype, the nose displayed a thin, subdued and overly mineralic profile much to my dislike. EDIT: I got a chance to try a second sample of this bottling, this time poured directly from the bottle. A completely different aroma. A thick, oily amalgam of apple, herbs and mint. Really makes me wonder what went wrong with the first sample and warrenting a justificating update. In the mouth classic Beenleigh notes with apples, wood, mixed sugars and spice. Lots of spice. Starts with anise, malt and sweet vanilla before quickly redeveloping in a chili heat with a ginger and juniper zing. The entirety is slightly dirty with a lovely petrolated base. Ends abruptly with similar notes, such as apple, molasses, spice and petrol; but foremost, especially dry."

"#4846 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Fresh, light, fruity, light prunes, faint honey, light wood, sugarcane, light peaches, spice. Palate Round, light wood, faint roasted, fruity, light ginger, pineapple, spice, light citrus, faint caramel. Finish Medium long, light wood, fruits, light caramel, light sugarcane, light herbal, light earthy. I had expected a far better quality thinking about it's a Velier, but sometimes you just get a bit disappointed. Not a bad rum but I think the price tag will outperform the quality."

Top review from MarcT:
"1. Tasting: took only a short sip, but i am pleased by it so far. A bit of water seemed to change its character completely, this needs some more experimentation. 2. Tasting: it starts really pleasant, there is sweetness and fruit. However, I had a really strong sour off-putting aftertaste. The sour mouthfeel was really something breaking the experience, so I have to distract a point, despite the beginning being so good."

"Very tasty fruity and floral beenleigh, but the alcohol could be better integrated and the finish is a little too bitter and metallic.... Could be much more balanced and complex with a few more years of ageing."

Top review from Fasen :

"Still very restrained and slightly pungent on the nose ... the palate is already much more intense. Super fruity and really easy to drink for the high ABV, which surprised me. It's already a delicious drop."

Top review from cigares :
"Rum and chocolate tasting by Rum Club Switzerland. A nose of tropical fruit (banana), citrus, varnished wood and sweetness (pastries). A floral note completes the nose. The palate has a fairly lively attack, with fruit and floral notes emerging later. The finish is long, with fruit and wood on the finish. Empty glass, fruit and wood varnish in harmony. A fine, lively, well-balanced rum. It lacks a little depth, but it's very well made and a pleasure to drink."

"Vieux sample qui traîne depuis fort longtemps dans l'étagère. J'aime beaucoup le coté floral des Beenleigh donc comparaison avec le Beenleigh 2013. C'est moins floral, plus métallique. Cela reste assez fruité mais essentiellement sur les agrumes. Bonne bouteille mais qui ne me marquera pas non plus. Le 2013 est nettement plus dans mes goûts."

Top review from Rowald Sweet Empire:
"Very closed nose at first. Wood and apples. Taste: more oak wood (American Oak/Pine wood). Bourbon. Pear.. a lot of pear. Some ripe peaches too. A nice sweetness. Dry and bitter. The cask is very dominant, but that's okay. This one needs time in the glass. I like the balance between sweetness, fruits and cask. Some pepper or ginger spiciness. Tasty. Probably one of the better Beenleighs I've had"

"very tasty full proof Australia!👌🏽 blind I would never ever have come here on Australia, rather Trinidad or so.on the nose blackberry, tobacco, dark chocolate, raisin, some cassis with mint. taste then thick mocha, with mint, cocoa, grapefruit peel as well as tobacco. somewhere comes a slight association with grappa. in the finish then thick and smooth like maple syrup with coffee and dark chocolate, some mint and raisin, as well as vanilla and grape to it. very tasty!"

Top review from Artur Schönhütte:
"Actually always impressed so far with the cask choices of independent bottles with beenleigh. Super dry and top profile. Fruit and buttery doughy profiles that are well integrated with wood notes of a bourbon cask"

Top review from Lukas Jäger:
"Over 75%, which bangs! And not only in the head, but also on the tongue! Incredibly intense, both on the nose and on the palate, this rum delivers aw wide range of flavors. Besides barrel and wood, fruits of the dark variety dominate, with yellow fruits (pear?) peeking through especially on the palate. In addition, some spices, aromas of chocolate and coffee. To enjoy in small sips, and give a lot of time, then he makes really fun!"

"#4575 26-27.01.2024 Hanse Spirit This rum has a good price to quality. A nice Australian rum with a funny history Notes Light wood, faint smoke, fruit, light glue, marzipan. Palate Light wood, faint smoke, sweet, light glue, herbs, mint, faint marzipan. Finish Medium long, wood, dried fruit, light mint, marzipan."

"Overall a good and strong rum that’s rich with a certain warmth. The nose is quite strong with aromas of vanilla and toffee. At the palate it’s full bodied and fruity with flavors of vanilla and toffee."

Top review from Vincent D:
"I find the previous scores that put this rum under 70/100 rather harsh...For a 4 year old Beenleigh reduced to 43%, I find it rather expressive. It is quite sweet on the nose. In the mouth, the alcohol is there despite the reduction and the wood already present despite the young age. Peppery notes, a roundness not unpleasant. But rather successful."
