"Spannend. Nachdem er in der Nase vor allem fruchtig daherkommt und diesen Eindruck für einen kurzen Moment auch am Gaumen bestätigt, schlägt er dann sofort in dunkle, holzige und Schokoladige Noten um. Leider etwas scharf und alkoholisch, für 17 Jahre doch etwas überraschend. Ansonsten sehr solide. Bei weniger präsentem Alkohol und dafür etwas mundfüllenderem Aroma wäre das eine Top-Abfüllung, so ordnet sie sich in einem starken Mittelfeld ein."

"Ingwer, Schwarztee, Pfirsich und Muskatnuss deutlich kräftiger und der Alkohol könnte etwas besser integriert sein. ich bevorzuge hier Ausnahmsweise Mal die Trinkstärke! ;) einer der besten Single cask Haiti bis dato aber!"

"Deutlich anders als der Rum Cask. Banane und eine gewisse Cremigkeit sind in der Nase. Alkohol finde ich Solana ei gebunden. Aber auch endlich mal ein bisschen Abwechslung zu den sonst übrigen Profilen. Ich mag den!! Für mich auch einen Punkt besser als der Rum Cask da ei Fach mehr passiert im Mund. Die Nase beim Rum Cask deutlich besser"

"A nice rum with a long lightly dry finish. Lightly fruity with spices and lovely oak, caramel and chocolate. Very light vegetal and licorice notes in there as well. Price to quality is very good in my mind."

"25.02.2017 A nice afternoon in the basement with rum and some delicious food. Notes Light in colour. Nose Light, faint roasted wood, pineapple, ginger, herbs. Palate Light, wood, faibt smoke, herbs, light nutts, light marzipan. Finish Medium long, wood, dried fruit, herbs, marzipan."

"kommt selten vor dass ich eine Trinkstärke einer Fassstärke gegenüber bevorzuge, aber hier ist es eindeutig der Fall. extrem rund und harmonisch einfach sehr angenehm zu trinken. schöne Mischung aus einem tropischen Fruchtsalat mit Honig & etwas Minze und Heu, sowie einer im Geschmack vor allem im Abgang anhaltenden kakao, Kräuter und Karamell Note! sehr schön."

"Just got two bottles of this rum today and I just couldn't wait for the tasting 😂 A very nice anniversary release especially when thinking about the price tag. Intense and yet smooth on the palate with nice balance between fruit and spices. Light roasted wood notes."

"Bei Hampden finishes werde ich direkt neugierig. in diesem fall passt das für mich nicht. Das DOK finish ist schwach präsent, schwebt wie ein undurchdringlicher schleier am gaumen über den aromen. irgendwie uninspiriert und alkoholisch."

"A rum tasted at the Lucerne Gin and Rum Festival 2024. A nose of bitter root, like gentian, but also sugar, yellow fruit and a herbaceous side. The palate is very bitter and alcoholic, a gentian spirit? But also with a sweet/honey side. The finish is short, leaving only bitterness in the mouth. To the untrained eye, you'd think it was a slightly sweet root liqueur rather than a rum. That said, it's pleasant on the palate and well made. I like it less than the 4-year-old."

"Un rhum goûté au Lucerne Gin and Rum Festival 2024. Un nez d’agricole avec des herbes amères, un côté doux/sucré et des fruits jaunes. La bouche commence avec douceur, les arômes grandissent et l’alcool prend le dessus. La finale est courte avec du bois amer. Pas un rhum très intéressant, mais bien fait et agréable à boire."
