"Nez très pâtissier avec le caramel et surtout le chocolat noir, on sent bien le fût ex-marsala également. Malgré cette gourmandise on sent par moment fort l'alcool. Après ouverture l'encens et le bois ciré prennent la main, note de Manou " ça sent l'église..."😆. En bouche, c'est rond, mais pas à outrance les épices et le boisé relèvent le tout. Comme au nez on oscille entre le côté rond/gourmand très agréable et un côté légèrement alcooleux moins sympa. La finale est portée sur les épices. Conclusion : nez sympa sur la gourmandise,et chocolat nez/bouche très sympa mais impression finale trop épicée. Alcool pas assez bien intégré."

"Typical Panama, being a single cask I thought it would taste different, less sweet and maybe stronger in terms of body strength. Nevertheless it was nice but not quite what I expected. No wine in the aftertaste. Good because I am not a wine enthusiast. The filling was for alko90 a slovak website dedicated to rums and other beverages. Since this one is the same as the one I had, just different front label, I decided to lay my notes in this as a placeholder."

"Encore un double aged, mais en lisant un peu on se retrouve avec un triple aged... 8 ans en Bourbon, 1 an en Ferrand et 10 mois en fûts de Pauillac... Je pense que Plantation devrait revoir ses descriptifs... Au nez le Pauillac vous saute dessus, puis les épices atténuent l'attaque précédente. Dommage que les marqueurs du Panama ne ressortent pas... Dommage... En bouche festival de canelle et poivre avec une douceur agréable... Et enfin Panama te voilà un peu caché mais tu est là... En fin de bouche, les fruits secs et la cannelle viennent calmer le feu de l'alcool. La présence du fût arrive vraiment en toute fin de bouche... Interessant mais sans plus."

"War nach der letztjährigen Erfahrung mit dem ausgezeichneten Bellamys Rye Cask sehr gespannt. Das Rye Cask setzt sich für mich aber so gut wie gar nicht in Szene. Sehr weich, aber auch ein bisschen langweilig. Für Einsteiger trotzdem gut geeignet."
