"extrem rund für 37y tropical aging... geile Nummer. absoluter Ausnahme Panama Rum! im blind tasting könnte man den schnell Mal mit Demerara verwechseln. Hintenraus bekommt er ne sehr abgefahrene, leicht bittere Note nach Maggikraut und Minze und altem Sherry."

"Klassischer Panama Rum, so wie man ihn erwartet. Leichte getrocknete Früchte in der Nase, ansonsten ein holzig-schokoladiges Profil mit Vanille und Karamell. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis so lala, dafür zu wenig Persönlichkeit"

"Přijemná milá, do rumu vypálená činská omáčka. :-) ve vůni drěvo, sušené ovoce a karamel. V chuti jsem si nejdřív přečetl Pavlův padthai a tězko se ho zbavuju. Asi tam je k trocha dřeva a pak zas ta sójovka."

"Fruity with spices from nose to finish with a bit of nuts, caramel and chocolate. Not your typical Panama rum, but pretty close and I like that you get the multi cask maturing. Would have loved a higher ABV :-) Price to quality is extremely good."

"Typical Panama, being a single cask I thought it would taste different, less sweet and maybe stronger in terms of body strength. Nevertheless it was nice but not quite what I expected. No wine in the aftertaste. Good because I am not a wine enthusiast. The filling was for alko90 a slovak website dedicated to rums and other beverages. Since this one is the same as the one I had, just different front label, I decided to lay my notes in this as a placeholder."

"Another double aged, but if you read a little further, you end up with a triple aged... 8 years in Bourbon, 1 year in Ferrand and 10 months in Pauillac casks... I think Plantation should revise its descriptions... On the nose, the Pauillac jumps out at you, then the spices soften the previous attack. It's a pity that the Panama markers don't stand out... Too bad... On the palate, a festival of cinnamon and pepper with a pleasant sweetness... And finally, Panama, you're a little hidden, but you're there... On the finish, dried fruit and cinnamon calm the alcohol fire. The presence of the cask really comes through at the very end... Interesting, but nothing more."

"War nach der letztjährigen Erfahrung mit dem ausgezeichneten Bellamys Rye Cask sehr gespannt. Das Rye Cask setzt sich für mich aber so gut wie gar nicht in Szene. Sehr weich, aber auch ein bisschen langweilig. Für Einsteiger trotzdem gut geeignet."
