Takamaka PTI Lakaz
Top review from LukaŽiga:
"8:On the nose, the first impression is toasted oak, then dried apricot and cocoa, toffee with clove and other sweet spices and an anise. It is dry as the second nose is smoky with caramel, vanilla and tropical fruits. Certainly it is a nice combination of Bajan and Seychelles rum, where the first is a bit stronger. 7,9:On the palate, the attack is dry and woody, toasted with dried apricot, anise, dried fruits, cocoa, and nutmeg. As we could also taste some cherry, butterscotch, molasses with liquorice as it is a bit chocolatey. There are confectionery notes with biscuits, cake. Nice and tasty. 7,8:The finish is long with toasted wood, dry, fruity and spicy...."

Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"A complex and well balanced rum in my mind, especially when thinking about the age. Very fruity with spices and herbal/minty/floral notes to balance it all. A bottle already gone from most shelves, but definitely worth a buy if you find it. Price to quality is very good."
Takamaka Bay Grankaz
Top review from Tim :
"Ein Blend ebenfalls aus Pot und Column Still aus Melasse und Zuckerrohrsaft mit Foursquare-Beimischung, ähnlich wie der PTI Lakaz, allerdings ohne Portweineinfluss. Das merkt man, denn dieser ist weniger aussagekräftig. Zwar noch tolle Nase, aber im Mund zu dünn."

Top review from Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰:
"I think this one would do very well in a cola with a slice of lime, but that's something I'll try later. The nose is fresh and fruity with grass and floral . The palate is light, fresh and oily with raisins, grass and floral notes as well as a hint of mint. The finish is medium long and light with fruits and grassy notes."
Takamaka Overproof Rum
Top review from TheJackDrop:
""Excellent takamaka, frankly, once it's well aerated, there's fruit, a little pepper and a hint of lychee. To sum up, my tasting notes: Nose: Alcoholic In the mouth: Fruity, Candied, Lychee, Peppery". For me, it's underrated!"
Takamaka Rum Blanc
Top review from Stefan Persson:
"Overall an OK quite tasty, mostly fruity, unaged rum. A good friend offered me a glass of this rum brought home from the Seychelles by his daughter. The brand Takamaka is produced in Seychelles at the Trois Frères Distillery distillery and this one was distilled in 2022 and bottled at ABV 43%."
Takamaka Bay Zepis Kreol
Top review from Tim :
"A visit to the Takamaka distillery is worthwhile! During the pandemic, the distillery has built up a second mainstay alongside its high-quality pot still made from fresh sugar cane juice from the Seychelles in very small quantities with a triple column still that works with molasses from abroad (Mauritius). This enables continuous production in large quantities, serving the cocktail and beginner segment. However, Zepi's Kreol is from the middle segment, as it also contains pot stills and has a somewhat more complex storage process than the lower segment. This rum must actually be regarded as a spiced rum, as it has been infused with local spices. Unfortunately, apart from the Extra Noir, there were no other rums from this segment available for tasting."
Takamaka St. André 8 Years Old Rum
Top review from Stefan Persson:
"This rum from the Seychelles is made from sugar cane juice, but they don’t call it Agricole cause they say that their methods are different. I think that the best thing about this rum is the aroma which is very nice, in the mouth it’s then quite bland but easy to drink."
Takamaka Extra Noir Rum
Top review from rum_sk:
"I have got a bottle as a birthday present from a friend and when I tasted it for the first time I really did not like it I thought that this will go straight into drinks or I will leave it to my wife (she likes it). On the second try it is not any better :D I mean it is not that bad but not great either. Nose- vanilla, sweetness, cocoa and lot of alcoholic odour. Taste- vanilla, sweetness, dark chocolate and cocoa. Maybe a little fainted coffee taste. Big negative is that the taste is very diluted, very faint taste. Short aftertaste. This will be fine in drinks & cocktails but it is not worth drinking it neat."
