"Exciting profile with classic molasses rum sweetness, but also some Agricole hints. Sweet, fruity, with enough wood influence to bring in some depth - the young age remains recognizable, the alcohol is still a little restless, but all in all this is already on a great level."

"#4812 10.08.2024 Enjoying some samples at home. Nose Intense, sugarcane, citrus, light vegetal, light mint, light floral. Palate Oily, medium dry, fruits, citrus, light mint, light vegetal, light grass, sugarcane, olive, light salty. Finish Medium to long, light citrus, faint mint, light oily, light floral, light olive. The empty glass has pine and perfume notes."

"This rum is 8yo column still rum produced from molasses as well as cane juice. Overall I think it’s a quite well balanced, smooth and pleasant rum that’s much better than expected and I wouldn’t hesitate if someone offered me a glass."

"Hier geht es natürlich nicht um charakterstarke Ecken und Kanten, die einem nachhaltig in Erinnerung bleiben sollen, oder um eine mittels hohem Alkoholgehalt nach vorne getriebene Aromenentladung, sondern um ein gemütliches und leckeres Trinkerlebnis und dies ist durchaus gelungen. Trotz der milden Trinkstärke ist der 8jährige Camikara erstaunlich vollmundig, hat einige angenehme Aromen auf Lager und macht nicht nur wegen des günstigen Preises eine gute Figur."

"On The Rocks: On the nose has lots of notes of sweetness, fruits and floral that evolves into a slight sherry smell. Taste is sweet caramel with some fruit that trails off into a slight bitterness. Not bad but nothing special as a sipper but it is an entry level rum so you can’t expect too much from it. This is much nicer mixed and suggested to drink that way. Mixed Pepsi Zero: One the nose caramel and sweetness. Taste is caramel and general sweetness but no depth. Enjoyable mixed and would drink multiple glasses of it."
