"Beautiful single cask from cihuatan from El Salvador. Personally, a little too cognac-like, a little too woody and "vinous" and the alcohol could be better integrated. Overall, however, solid sfoff and probably the oldest single barrel from El Salvador to date! And in direct comparison to the predecessor definitely much better!"

"Unfassbar schöner daily sipper. Sehr entspannt und lecker. Für mich wohl das Beste was bis dato aus El Salvador in cask strength auf'n Markt kam und preislich auch echt im Rahmen."

"Probably one of the best bottlings from El Salvador to date on the market. Very harmonious composition of Werthers real caramel cocoa candy with a little salt, dried apricots, date nut, cocoa, roasted almonds."

"sehr schöne und unglaublich ungewöhnliche Nummer hier aus el Salvador von cihuatan. sowohl fast so rauchig wie junger Whisky als auch so floral und fruchtig wie ein agricole, dennoch eine schöne, cremige süße an dulce de leche erinnend die alles verbindet. wenn der jetzt ein paar % mehr hätte wäre gigantisch... mega komplex dafür! grüner Apfel, Haselnuss, Kamille, Salzkaramell, Sahnetoffee, rauchiges fass, Pfeffer etc... der kann was! "

"Ungewöhnlich Kräuterig und apfelig (grüner Granny smith) für einen Spanier. Aber diese typischen leichten Rauch und Nuss und Karamell Noten sind auch hier wieder zu finden wie oft bei El Salvador aber hier mit deutlich mehr Kräuter Einschlag! Insgesamt wirklich sehr komplex und spannend zu trinken. Und für das Geld kann man sowieso nichts falsch machen was der damals gekostet hat! ♥️"
