"Made by a distillery that used to make Bacardi too. Epris is half molasses/cane juice or sometimes one of those (?). It leans towards an Agricolesque style: Grassy, fresh apples, a bit like Calvados. Really neat and crisp stuff. Very spirit driven. This particular one needs some time in the glass to open up."

"A Caipirinha from the bottle, but quite positively meant. Taste like an aged cachaca that has already been mixed with lime and other citrus fruits. Some raisin and tangerine. Overall very round and pleasant on the palate."

Guter Brasilianer!"

"This weekend was very busy because I've been building a new shelf system for my 250+ bottles so my Saturday and Sunday tastings haven't been added :-)"

"You can smell the spices. It swings to the nose but the mouth does not give the same impression"

"First off, the quality definitely doesn't match the price tag. But of course this is a limited release and it's in a carafe, but still a steep price. The nose is sweet and fruity with a lot of vanilla and some earthy notes. The palate is sweet and fruity and again with a lot of vanilla trailed by chocolate, smoke and tobacco. The finish is medium long with dried fruit, tobacco and vanilla."

"This is a pretty good rum at the price it has. A rum in the sweet end of the spectrum, but an OK rum for a first evening zipper :-) The nose is fruity with coconut and floral touch. The palate is sweet and creamy/buttery with fruit, honey and spices. The finish is. Edium long and oily in the texture with fruit and spices. Swirl it in the glass and it draws nice curtains for a long time. "

"Wow, this is almost sugar water with fruit taste 😊 I'd classify this as a good beginner rum or a dessert rum. I'm pretty sure you can use it for baking as well."

"Sehr sehr leckerer cachaça - finished in Portweinfässern. Dennoch sehr geile Neu-Entdeckung vom GRF2021!"

"Fairly sweet but interesting elixir. Very strong coconut flavor which is something I am a huge fan of. So my review is biased even though it is really sweet. In this combination I do not mind sweetness at all and I forgive any flaws. I mean if it would be little more sweet it would be a problem but this level is fairly ok with me. Right on the edge but ok."

"This is a rum for beginners. Far too sweet for me but on the other hand very fruity with spices and caramel."

"Cool !
