"30.08.2019 A nice evening with good friends and a few rums. Notes Medium dark to dark in colour. Nose Intense,, light wood, roasted, light caramel, nutts, earthy, light coconut, faint nougat. Palate Intense, light wood, oily, light caramel, faint nougat, fruity, light floral, coconut. Finish Long and warm, fruits, coconut, light caramel, light floral, faint cinnamon."

"Les caroni trop huile de garage ou pneu de vél ou jus de vieux bois mouillé, c'est pas mon truc, donc souvent, j'aime bien mais sans plus. Mais alors celui ci me montre que ça peut être vraiment classe! Vieux bois à la cire d'abeille avec une belle fraîcheur en prime. Très élégant, très agréable, très bon. J'ai pas gouté 50 caroni, mais celui la c'est le meilleur que j'ai eu. Content de le partager pour le faire découvrir, mais si j'avais la chance d'en ravoir une, je la prends de suite!"

"10.02.2018 Having a great tasting at work with nice colleagues. Notes Light in colour. Nose Fresh, light wood, faint roasted, light olive, mint, pineapple, light anise, plum. Palate Balanced, light wood, faint smoke, light mint, light plum, pineapple, faint chocolate. Finish Medium long, light wood, faint licorice, dried fruit, light mint."

"Okay ciao. Wie kann das Ding mit 85% so mild trinkbar sein? Und wieso schmeckt mir ein Rum der nach einer kräftig angebratenen Pilz-Speck Pfanne mit balsamico und Melasse, schwarzkümmel und Thymian einreduziert wurde so gut? Krass. Das ist Mal wirklich flüssige DNA von Guyana in Reinform. Fett! 2-3 tropfen Wasser öffnen ihn endgültig übrigens. Geiles Zeug! Daiquiri damit ist auch komplett verrückt, als würde man Champignons mit Limette und Ananas abrunden und etwas Kümmel dazu rösten. Pervers aber geil!"

"Le nez nous fait penser a des caractéristiques de ron (sans le sûr plus de sucre), beurré, fruité (Coco / Banane / Fruits rouge /Européens) tout ca avec une impression de chimique un peu épais (Guimauves /Mielleux). La bouche est remplie des mêmes fruits qu'au nez toujours avec une impression de chimique industrielle, elle est aussi caramélisée, vanillé, chocolaté et légèrement mielleuse. La final s'estompe sur quelques fruits caramélisées, de la vanille et un léger boisé (Toasté) toujours avec ce côté chimique. Intéressant et atypique (pas forcément du bon sens). Un peu trop mielleux et final malheureusement assez légère, on dirait que les watts sont de trop pour la faible puissance aromatique..."

"WOW! with the best will in the world, i could not have imagined that rum at 83% could be so mild and harmonious without dilution and barrel ageing. the great white shark from fiji🦈 is unexpectedly mild and complex. papaya, pineapple, nail polish, a little ginger and rose on the nose, then papaya, mocha, dark chocolate, a little metallic and really very harmonious and round with a slight overripe fruit sweetness. the finish is warm, strong coffee dusted with cocoa and papaya again. daiquiri with it borders on technical knockout but is absolutely delicious. great cinema! top! ⚡🦈🤤🇫🇯 Fiji in its purest form with the typical notes of bicycle inner tube, strong mocha, papaya and burnt notes... Still one of my absolute benchmark white overproof in terms of complexity and alcohol integration..."

"This Rum is very impressive and offers us a very rich and interesting aromatic palette, all with a very nice balance. We find as well several types of fruits (Banana / Mango / Grape / Peach / Apricot) fermented passed to the solvent, spices (Clove / Nutmeg / Licorice / Vanilla / Pepper), a big vegetable side very green and very fresh as well as a super greediness.all that well balanced with a big funky and coppery side of Jamaica.the final is obviously interminable and very pleasant. Excellent rum, I love it!"

"In de neus is alcohol aanvankelijk overheersend, waardoor andere dingen moeilijk waar te nemen zijn. Maar na wat rust komen de Foursquare toetsen meer en meer op de voorgrond. De smaak is erg goed, je zou nooit denken dat je iets van 64,5% aan het drinken bent omdat de de alcohol zo goed geïntegreerd is."

"Tropical fruits meet tea, wood and a touch of menthol. Nice selection, good Clarendon. The alcohol remains present, but does not drift into the unpleasant. Overall, the flavor spectrum remains within the expected range, overall would have to do a bit more flavorwise to advance to even higher dimensions."

"18-19.02.2022 Going through samples at home. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Intense, fresh, varnish, light wood, vanilla, fruity, light pear, faint pineapple. Palate Intense, fresh, light spicy, fruity, light citrus, faint chocolate, light metallic, light nutts. Finish Medium to long, warm, light wood, faint chocolate, faint nutts, fruits. Extra note. Needs to rest for a while to release all its flavours."
