"#4806 09.08.2024 Relaxing with some samples. Nose Balanced, fruits, apple, dried fruit, light roasted wood, spice, light vegetal. Palate Oily, round, balanced, light vegetal, faint earthy, wood, light nutts, dried fruit, faint orange, light grass. Finish Medium long, oily, wood, light roasted, medium dry, spice, light grass, faint orange, dried fruit. The empty glass has nice chocolate, faint leather and light herbal notes."

"Just after its brother st james V&B. It's the same kind of Martinique profile, with a very present, greedy woodiness. This one is perhaps a little finer on the nose, a little spicier on the palate. It's an excellent martiniquais, but once again a profile that's perhaps too woody to enter the 90+ category."

"Grassy agricole notes, slightly reminiscent of grappa, some young wood, spices, hazelnuts with chocolate, minimal fruity notes of grape and mirabelle plum, extremely dry. The alcohol is quite well integrated, but this is not exactly a revelation in terms of complexity."

"#4451 04.11.2023 preparing a tasting for next weekend for a group of 4. All rums are in the "war" spectrum 😂 This is a really nice and pretty well balanced rum. The nose is fresh and fruity with a floral note. The palate is intense and oily with fruits, light leather and caramel. The finish is medium to long with a nice citrus touch. The empty glass has a light smoky as well as a faint medicinal note."

"Die Nase ist vielversprechend und am Gaumen scheint er im Antritt ebenso. Erst ölig und mundfüllend mit gut ausbalancierten und kräftigen agricole, floralen, grünfruchtigen und gelbfruchtigen Aromen, wandelt er sich am Gaumem schnell ins grasige und pfeffrige, wobei die fruchtigkeit komplett abgeht. Leckerer Karukera mit einem schwachem Abgang."

"Un rhum extrêmement gourmand, la vanille le caramel la coco et le chocolat au lait me rappellent une barre chocolatée. En bouche ces mêmes notes sont rejointes par l'ananas, un zeste de citron et des épices douces, ce qui apporte une petite fraîcheur et reléve le tout. Un rapport qualité prix énorme."
