"Where to start? First, the bottle is incredible in its detail. Then smoke and peat (or hydrocarbons?) take over. The fruit is clearly present, even if in hindsight it doesn't go through all the states, and we end up with a smell that's impossible to get out of my head. Last glass at 1802, because after that nothing can stand up to me!"

"12.11.2022 Going through samples at home. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light wood, faint roasted, fruits, apple, light berries, light chocolate, faint coffee. Palate Oily, balanced, light wood, light ginger, fruits, pineapple, faint chocolate, light tea, medium dry, medium spicy. Finish Medium long, light wood, light herbs, fruits, light pineapple, light ginger, spice, light grass."

"Nice and oily in the glass. Very pleasant nose with lots of fruit ... Ripe mango, banana, pineapple and papaya. Delicious fruit ester and light woody notes. Alcohol not very present. Slightly sweet and nicely fruity on the palate, but here paired with more woodiness and bitter tones. I can also taste a little vanilla 🫨. Acidity more present on the nose than on the palate but never disturbing. The finish is relatively monotonous with bitter chocolate and a dry mouthfeel. Alcohol relatively well integrated for me."

Needs to rest for a good while for the rum to settle and all flavours to be released."
