"I always love when there is a Caroni in the tasting and this one was no exception. The nose is typical Caroni with tar and rubber in the woodiness. Fruits, vanilla and licorice compliment the overall nose. The oily palate takes off where the nose finishes, and the tarry rubber, wood is very well balanced with the fruit and vanilla. The finish is very long and woody with rubber, tropical fruits and vanilla."

"This truly is a diamond in the rough. Once rested it is really fruity with esters and nice wood. The palate is both intense and balanced and the ABV is well integrated. The empty glass is absolutely amazing."

"Leider kann ich nicht ganz mitgehen mit den Topbewertungen. Die Nase finde ich trotz einer Stunde Atmen etwas flach. Der hohe ABV tut ihm aber gut und im Mund schon ne richtige Granate. Vielen Dank für das Sample 🙏🏼"

"Ein ziemliches Brett! Sehr fruchtige Nase, wirkt noch sehr jung und frisch. Das gefällt mir sehr gut, macht ihn aber auch etwas einseitig. Erdige Aromen, Würzigkeit und das Fass sind sehr hintergründig wahrnehmbar. Neben grünem Apfel, tropischen Früchten und Zitrusmarmelade, sind da noch sehr viel Lösungsmittel und Säure, aber auch Süße wie Marzipan und Melasse. Im Mund überwiegt auch hier deutlich die Frucht, sehr intensiv, kräftig, Cremig jedoch nicht ganz so mundfüllend als andere Vertreter...da fehlt irgendwie etwas....Der Abgang ist lediglich mittellang und etwas enttäuschend "

"Farbe: Weisswein Geruch: Süß, Funky … sehr esterig und fruchtig (Litschi, Banane) mit Nagellackentferner und Firnis. Geschmack: Im Mund süß, cremig und würzig, beim Schlucken eine Ester-Explosion. Ein süß-esterig fruchtiger Rum. Super lecker Abgang: Sehr lang, würzig-esterig fruchtig, holzig, würzig-scharf und trocken. Samtig im Nachgeschmack. Fazit: Das ist genau das was ich bei einem Jamaica Rum suche … perfekt. 91 Punkte"
