"I love going to this bar because they have a huge selection of top shelf and super rare rums. This Enmore is just up there with the best Enmore releases. Fruity with nice smoky wood notes and lovely spices. The caramel is very light and more obvious in the empty glass."

"Having this one on my upper shelf, where all the yummy stuff is always makes me happy. I have retasted it and compared to my old notes. This time it got a few more points. This is a very heavy rum that needs a frop of water and a rest before you give it a go. The nose is wonderful yet kind of light, setting off with fruits and some varnish before serving nuts, chocolate and spices before ending it with oak. The palate is, now hold on, a well balanced and complex experience. Bitter and dry at the same time and it draws nice oily curtains. Lots of fruit topped with caramel, spices and smoky oak."

"Really nice release as well. Let there be wood and wood it was. But still very nicely balanced and the ABV integration is near perfection. The empty glass is really nice and the finish stays for a long time."

"Danke an Jarek für das Sample. Hmmm … ja, der lebt eher vom Namen und vom Etikett als vom Inhalt. Nicht schlecht, aber auch nichts besonderes. An der Nase gefällt er mir noch etwas besser als am Gaumen und etwas Zeit im Glas tut ihm gut."

"I think this one will raise a stir during tasting. I do like Jamaican rums thus the high score.Leave to rest for at least 15 minutes in order to release all the flavours.Molasses and fruits get to your nose first, then comes the funk and woody vanilla and some varnish.The palate is nice and strong. Burnt wood with fruit, chocolate and caramel in the front. Then you get hit by subtle tobacco, mint and licorice.The finish is long and stays with you for a long while. Charred wood with currants and wonderful chocolate."

"Overall prevalence of vanilla with hints of tobacco/barrel with a medium-long finish initially of vanilla then giving way to light tobacco/barrel notes.Decent rum, but I would never buy it again except at bargain prices. The bottle aesthetically is very nice."
