"The cashew note on the nose bothers me a little (reminds me of Montaguere's Karukera Christian). It fades after a long opening. The palate, on the other hand, has what I like in these great Martiniquais: elegant oak and gourmet nuts, refreshed just right by the spices."

"A favorite distillery (Bielle) and a favorite IB (Chantal Comte). The only Bielle in the RumX database that was bottled before 2000. Key data that invite you to dream.😍 A very fine, fragile nose. Extremely complex. Solvent at the beginning, then pastry, slightly nutty. Slightly animal and the finest wood spice. The 58% is hidden, would rather guess 43%. Wonderful in the mouth. Full, warm, now very spicy and the finest oak. The finish is awesome. First dried apricot and then plenty of pepper. Then pastry and spice, it could be longer. Reminds me of a Liberation chiseled with Neissonian elegance. An absolute highlight 😍😍😍😍Every mm is a pleasure."

"Very nice Agricole. Top!!!The nose like a chord on the guitar, harmonious, very complex, but individual facets are difficult to taste out. Perfect in the mouth. The 2001 is my favorite, still absolute recommendation to buy, as this will be a collector's item in a few years."

"Beautiful nose. Oak dominates, followed by a great glue note and then fruit. Balanced, alcohol well integrated, fresh. In the mouth then a wild ride. Very peppery and powerful. Balanced again on the finish. Very good overall. A very good Agricole, but lacks the brilliant elegance of its two brothers. And meanwhile there is an abundance of similar Agricoles of comparable quality."

"12.12.2020 Nice tasting at a local bar with all new rummies. Notes Light to medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, light wood, apples, light pineapple, sugarcane, floral. Palate Warm, wood, faint smoke, medium dry, light grass, medium spicy, light sugarcane, light floral, fruits. Finish Medium long, wood, medium dry, fruits, light pineapple."

"This was a wonderful surprise and if you leave it to rest for at least 15 minutes it really opens up. Only lightly fruity with spice and some wood. There is a floral touch to this rum and it went well with my favourite dark chocolate. I'm pretty sure it would do well with a good cigar. "

"Frische Nase, gelbe Früchte, sehr harzig. frisch und ausgewogen. Würzig, Zedernholz, Tabak im Mund. Perfekte Stärke. Würzig und gebrannter Zucker im Abgang. Alleinstellungsmerkmal Harz. Toller Rum."
