"Blindverkostung. An der Nase anfangs schön malzig, dachte zuerst an einen REV 1994, der Eindruck verflog aber schnell, ich tippte daher auf einen Diamond, vielleicht aus dem Jahr 2002. Der Alkohol ist sehr gut eingebunden, man kann ein ganzes Bündel Kräuter herausschmecken, außerdem kräftigen Eukalyptus. Obwohl objektiv sicher ein sehr guter Rum zu einem unglaublichen PLV, aber ich tat mich irgendwie schwer damit, das Sample auszutrinken. Vielleicht ist er einfach nicht mein Fall."

"1. Tasting day: nice, not what I expected (I have come to find Spanish style rums underwhelming). There is a strong aroma, and more mouthfeel. Not very much beyond Caramel at first, but ist still satisfies my taste buds. This may be due to the high ABV compared to other more mainstream latin rums I tried, I like it. 2. Tasting: a completely different experience. This time the rum seemed more timid, which is not wrong. But it prevents a higher score. Still it is a nice sipper, one to drink on the balkony until a surprised realization that the glass is empty."
