"Got this 5cl sample as a gift from RhumAttitude when ordering some other bottles. It’s a little like the 8yo releases from Hampden, but a little less heavy, esters rich and funky. It’s a blend from three different casks and is very smooth for a Jamaican pot still."

"This Jamaican pot still rum at ABV 57% is a blend of distillates from Hampden, Worthy Park and Monymusk. It’s aged in former bourbon barrels. The color is deep amber with a little help from added color otherwise there’s no flavoring additives. The finish is rather long and it’s very dry in the very end. Overall a well balanced full bodied Jamaican rum without being extremely heavy with taste of esters."

"Guter Blend, dem das Sherry-Finish seinen Stempel aufdrückt, ohne den Jamaika-Charakter gänzlich zu überlagern. Angenehm trinkbar mit einem Wechselspiel aus schweren trockenen und frischen zitrischen Früchtnoten. Schöner Rum im gemässigten Preissegment."

"The Navy Island Jamaican Rum XO is a blend of pot and column still rums from Worthy Park, Hampden and Moneymusk. The rum is named after Navy Island, a small tropical island near the coast of Jamaica once owned by Errol Flynn. It’s matured in ex bourbon casks and bottled at just 40% ABV."
