Top review from Jakob:
"Great bottling - both wonderful fruit notes and wood, spice and a heavy caramel sweetness come together here. The alcohol is excellently integrated, the over 70% are not really tasty - except in the aromatic complexity. If Plantation can maintain this level, one can look forward to the coming releases."

"Ein richtig guter Hampden, sehr harmonisch und leicht zu genießen! Davon gerne mehr! Re-Tasting bei Dr. Django: Der Hampden ist wunderbar ausgewogen und sehr komplex. Der ABV ist in perfekter Trinkstärke. Ich setze ihn um 0,1 Phnkte höher. Die 9 hat er absolut verdient"

"A real "board" - aromatically very dense with lots of fresh fruit from a melange of tropical and citrus fruits that can hardly be decomposed in the last detail paired with bacony roasted aromas, spices, wood influences and some caramel sweetness. Extremely intense, but in this force also absolutely impressive."

"This is a difficult case for me.... I miss the overripe fruit on the nose... the acidity is too high for me... the yoghurt and olive content doesn't quite fit for me either. The palate and finish are more to my taste. The fruit and wood are in harmony here Edit: I mistyped the scale 😌"

Top review from mto75:
"glad to have tasted this 🦄. From memory, I would say the RA 1986 WIRD was even more on honey and smoky notes. The Plantation has a broader fruit palette to offer, with mango, papaya and green tea. Distilled exclusively on the Gregg farm, it is idle to argue whether this makes it a 'real' Rockley...."

Top review from DomM:
"Very nicely balanced on the nose. This one is less minty but more fruits forward with some herbs and notes from the oak casks. Well balanced in the palate as well. Fruit forwards with mint and wood. Less dirty than some of the other bottlings. Slightly behind the top notch 2001 bottlings for me due to a little rougher edges on the palate. Still very nice overall."

"Woohoo what a grenade... Brachial Long Pond 😎 Alcohol incredibly well integrated and at an incredible 76% 😳😳😳😳 Dilution, Uhu come first, Bääähm💥 full in the Fre... e .... Gradually it opens up and fruits, wood, honey and of course "umami" come through well. An insane drop!!!! I am thrilled.... Let's see what he delivers in May Tai."

"The alcohol bites at the first sip but soon after releases an explosion of taste. This is something new and still real Jamaican with the funk. Very well balanced and harmonic in the oak vs other flavours. You're probably going for seconds on this one. "

Top review from Jakob:
"Great bottling with the almost typical menthol note, which brings depth to the otherwise of fruit esters, wood influence, spice, vanilla and subtle caramel sweetness marked flavor profile. In direct comparison with the 95 Clarendon but clearly in the rear, because the alcohol here most clearly appears."

Plantation Fiji Islands 2007 (Finished in Ferrand 10...
Top review from Jakob:
"The 2007 vintage is dominated by tropical fruits, which gallantly play to their strengths; they are joined by light sweetness of pastry and sugar as well as floral aromas. All of this plays out well on the palate, and the alcohol is well integrated. The fruit melange is very appealing and offers complexity, light tobacco aromas, a bit of tart spiciness and toasted aromas from the barrel. Overall, however, the spectrum remains a bit too straightforward, the present counterpoints to the herbal-fruity freshness and thus the other aromatic influences that could provide additional excitement are missing. However, this remains almost the only flaw in this rum, which basically knows how to convince absolutely."

Top review from Rodolphe:
"After the discovery of the live whisky, which had thrilled me, I took the time to taste it again this evening. I'm still very impressed. A great ITP, especially on the nose. I really love this nose. Superb balance between fruit, wood and a gourmand side. On the palate, the woodiness tends to be a little too present, through a little bitterness that quickly blurs the fruitier aromas of the beginning. Too bad, but it's still a great rum. Another very fine plantation release in the top-range Jamaican range, at a price that's not at all unreasonable today for 20 years of age."

"On the nose there is Light chocolate, a hint of alcohol. The taste has a hint of chocolate. Alcohol is noticeable but not too dominant. Too wood and rye feel in the mouth."

Top review from cigares :
"Rum and chocolate tasting by Rum Club Switzerland. A fruity nose of overripe pineapple and mango, with a few esters in support. An explosion of fruit on the palate too, with varnish aromas adding a little depth. The finish is too short and the fruit disappears too quickly. A pleasant, easy-drinking rum that also brings a certain complexity."

"Schöner solider long pond. Das orangewein hat recht wenig Einfluss genommen. Dafür kommt er schön fruchtig und intensiv für diese geringe Alkoholstärke. Preis Leistung passt. Klare Kaufempfehlung/trinkemofehlung"

Top review from Tim :
"Smells brilliantly chocolaty nutty with caramel and coconut in the background. In the mouth and finish, the spices dominate: spicy, pferrerig, woody. Caramel and fruit go under, if then more chocolate. In the mouth a little too spicy for me, but otherwise very good!"

"Delicious and a lot of tropical fruit. Vanilla is coming through in this one and it sticks for a while.A super rum to sit and sip with your friends.A very good beginners rum in my mind,"

"#4078 A pretty nice release and a well balanced one at the same time. Fruity with nice spices and well integrated ABV. I really like the light minty and floral note in the profile. The empty glass reveals some coffee and nuts."

"#4282 06.10.2023 Yet another One Time release that is doing pretty well. The price tag is really good compared to what you get. A medium light profile with nice fruit, caramel and light wood. The palate is spicy/warm with nice fruit. The finish is medium long and spicy with light dryness to it. The caramel in the profile is pretty nice. Draws nice curtains in the glass. The empty glass has some chocolate, nuts and very light marzipan."
