"A privilege to have been able to witness the opening of one of these bottles and to have been able to taste it! A blend of 4 vintages put together beautifully with excellent balance! Very similar to the 1994 Armada but with a more pronounced vegetal part! Another masterpiece!"

"Wow, on the nose it reminds me of a Guyana rum or even a Foursquare, with citrus fruits and other fruits such as peach being dominant here, especially if you give it enough time to breathe. Lots of roasted chocolate, caramel, wood and all kinds of fruit. Very pleasant in the mouth, despite 60°. Complex rum, at a more than fair price! Definitely a good tad better than the 2010."

"Ever since @crazyforgoodbooze got me hooked on Mauritius at the 11th GRF, I've been trying to get to know the country's rums better. With this one, I like the expressive blackcurrant note on the palate. A really pleasant rum, but with an unremarkable nose and a short finish that can't match the Grays from Perola (RX12865) from the same year. Update 2023-07-02: I must have had a bad day at the first tasting, only 82 points just doesn't do the rum justice. Now, at the second tasting, it has a super-long, fruity and woody finish. The impressive red rum now gets a well-deserved 86 points. Pretty good PLV for a single cask and still available, wonderful. Update 2024-03-16: Used as a benchmark rum against two other New Grove single casks and more than lives up to its role. In the meantime I have to say, even better than the 2009 bottling. Amazing Mauritius!"

"I love Bally and have a lot of them on my shelves. This particular one is just up there with the best. A very floral release compared to the other releases from Bally. We'll rounded and fruity with spices and chocolate as well as a hint of coffee. Price to quality at release was really good 😊"

"A beautiful selection from LMDW!A very fruity and well balanced Neisson! On the surface it looks like a young rum where however it retains the fragrance and incredible quality of Neisson's sugar cane! Pleasant to drink on any evening!"

"Un bielle molto intenso! Si sente la qualità della canna da zucchero usata insieme alla parte vegetale che contraddistingue questa distilleria! Una piacevole parte agrumata si integra perfettamente con la botte e lo rende molto equilibrato! Ha anche una nota dolce molto spiccata di miele e sciroppo che ti invoglia la bevuta!"

"This is a really nice PM. Very well balanced and complex rum and you barely get the ABV. Fruity with a lot of nice spices and wood and light coffee. The finish is very long and warm and the curtains are beautiful. The empty glass reveals even more flavours like mint, chocolate and light rubber."

"Überraschend leckerer & sehr komplexer Australier trotz des jungen Alters. Frage mich wo die leichte süße und zitrus Säure her kommt! Schöne Mischung aus viel tropischen Früchten, kandiertem scharfem Ingwer, floraler Pfirsich Eistee, Eukalyptus, Karamellbonbons, Birne und Kakao sowie Bratäpfeln, Bananenbrot und intensiven adstringierenden Fass Noten. Geiler langer Abgang, das Ding macht Spaß! Find ich richtig geil!🤤😁"
