Top review from TheRhumhoe:
"A rum with a typical Port Mourant profile, which is very fruity and greedy on the nose, with yellow fruits and citrus, quite a bit of spices, chocolate, wood, caramel and some floral flavors to complete the olfactory profile. Conversely, the attack in the mouth is more floral, earthy, and vegetal, with some bitterness, leather, wood and spice. The fruits are more in the background, the whole is drier and more herbaceous. The finish is long, dominated by floral, tobacco and leather notes, spices and some fruity scents. A classic Guyana rum, and even if the wood did not mark too much the rum, the whole lacks depth to be more striking."

Top review from Rare Akuma:
"You get what you pay for, and that’s it. This bottle functions well as a low cost daily, but it’s simply too young and too uncomplex to excite. The nose doesn’t get past coconut and bitter lemon peels. Petrichor raising sparse minerality, but most of all smells like weak coffee with lots of cream. Tasting kicks the caramel into second gear. Very smooth, sweet and buttery. The wood develops quite slowly, but it’s definitely present at the back of the palate. It’s lightly minty and more smoked than expected. Released for Black Friday 2022."

"The nose is predominantly molasses with light influences of banana and kiwi. The expected sweetness is counterbalanced by citrusy notes and spicy camphor that reveal themselves on deeper breaths. Worthy Park galore on the palate. Breakfast cereal dusted with brown sugar, tropical salad and sliced apple on the side. Lots of spices, yet light esters - especially phenolic. The aftertaste is quite sour, which subdues after the bottle gets more aerated. I liked it most below 50%. Interestingly the bottle claims it was aged for 5 years, but it was aged for an additional year in Europe. The bang for your buck is quite high at release price. Released for Black Friday 2022."
