"A Caroni with an original profile to say the least: apart from the initial hydrocarbons, one feels mostly fruits (apricot, orange peel and dried fruits), tobacco, grass, spices, honey, caramel and chocolate. Quite sweet and confusing for a Caroni. The attack on the palate starts with hydrocarbons before melting into spices, tobacco, vanilla and tropical fruits. A slightly smoky profile but still smooth. The finish is quite long, dipped in rubber, some tar, a hint of saltiness, earthy and fresh notes of grass and tobacco. A roasted and bitter feel comes through. A different profile from Caroni, well integrated but slightly lacking in depth to be top notch."
